JPS-SP lança núcleo em Limeira, interior do Estado

O Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da ABES-SP (JPS-SP) lançou, na última quinta-feira, 10 de agosto, mais um núcleo de integrantes, desta vez, em Limeira, no interior do Estado.

A reuniu inaugural teve participação do coordenador do JPS-SP, Thomas Ficarelli, que fez um panorama geral das atividades do programa. “As pessoas estão interessadas em todas atividades e na rotina do JPS. Ficaram impressionadas com o crescimento do programa e nossa relação com todo Brasil e exterior. Foi um evento muito agradável”, diz Thomas.

O núcleo JPS-Limeira é coordenado por Beatriz Ribeiro, administradora e mestranda em Saneamento Básico. Ela tem o apoio de Gabriella Bello, Gabriela de Paula e do Prof. Dr. Felippe Benavente Canteras para organizar e ampliar a iniciativa. “A reunião foi proveitosa, pois as pessoas ficaram interessadas, estamos com a programação para o semestre com alguns eventos relacionados a trazer egressos e intercambistas. No final do semestre queremos fazer outra reunião para um balanço. As perspectivas são boas, acredito que vai ter bastante aceitação, vamos trabalhar e melhorar o nosso networking e criar um núcleo consistente. Temos um ano de muito trabalho para o JPS-Limeira”, afirma Beatriz.

O Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento Ambiental (JPS) tem caráter contínuo junto à ABES, com o objetivo de despertar habilidades e lideranças entre os jovens de até 35 anos que atuam o têm interesse na área do saneamento ambiental, para satisfazer as necessidades presentes e futuras do setor e da sociedade.

O programa é multidisciplinar e está aberto a profissionais de todas as áreas do conhecimento que vejam o saneamento como uma prioridade para a melhoria da qualidade ambiental e de vida da população brasileira.
