Os Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento (JPS-SP) vêm buscando realizar atividades que tragam maior saber a seus participantes, por meio de experiências práticas junto aos profissionais do setor. Em campo, as visitas técnicas são uma ótima forma dos jovens terem contato com a complexidade dos projetos e operação, bem como conversar com profissionais para conhecerem assim como terem conhecimento da rotina e desafios.
O JPS-SP realizou recentemente três visitas técnicas. Na cidade de São Paulo, elas foram organizadas pelo participante Jonathan Adam, sendo uma no bairro de Interlagos e outra na Vila Prudente. Na Baixada Santista, o JPS local organizou uma vistoria para a Unipar Carbocloro em Cubatão – SP, por meio das coordenadoras Kayane Franco e Paula Pinheiro.
Em Interlagos, no dia 29 de julho, os jovens puderam conhecer as ações da SABESP em áreas irregulares, com a qual tem tomado ações abastecer essa população por meio de um contrato específico de Regularização em Áreas de Vulnerabilidade Social. O trabalho consiste numa parceria técnica e socioeducativa com a população local para dar viabilidade ao projeto, no intuito dessas populações reconhecerem a importância dos serviços de saneamento para a saúde e meio ambiente, bem como evitar fraudes (gatos) e perdas na distribuição.
Para a engenheira ambiental Thaís Rocha de Queiroz, “a visita foi muito interessante para vivenciar na prática os desafios enfrentados pelo setor e entender a aplicação dos conceitos estudados em sala de aula e a complexidade multidisciplinar do saneamento atingindo os pilares sociais, econômicos e ambientais. Desconhecia essa atuação da Sabesp e fiquei contente por ver que eles atuam por condições dignas de vida para pessoas em situações vulneráveis, podendo inspirar outros lugares e organizações, gerando qualidade de vida e redução das ligações clandestinas e, consequentemente, todos os problemas provocados por essa prática.”
Na visita técnica no reservatório de Guamiranga, ocorrida dia 09 de agosto em São Paulo – SP, os participantes puderam observar os detalhes do projeto técnico para detenção de águas pluviais em eventos de chuva, junto a técnicos do Departamento de Águas e Energia elétrica – DAEE.
O participante e estudante de Tecnologia em Hidráulica Saneamento e Ambiente da FATEC-SP Jonathan Adam relatou a experiência : “Como sempre umas visita técnica deste calibre é sempre prazerosa e enriquecedora para quem participa. O interesse e a atenção existente nas pessoas que nos recepcionaram é notável. Ademais, é ótimo ser guiado pelas pessoas confeccionaram o projeto, como o Sr. Antônio Cecon.”
Vista ao reservatório e parte da equipe JPS com os funcionários do DAEE
No dia 11 de agosto, a equipe do JPS da Baixada Santista visitou a Unipar Carbocloro, fabricante de cloro, soda e derivados para usos industriais. No local, foi esclarecido todo o processo de produção e da forma como os resíduos e efluentes são gerenciados e tratados dentro da empresa. As visitas são incentivadas aos jovens, tanto que a empresa possui o programa “Fábrica Aberta” para atender ao interesse dos estudantes, profissionais e cidadãos.
Para a participante do JPS Lilyani Andrade, Engenheira Química residente em Guarujá – SP, a visita foi “interessante e de grande aprendizado, pois permitiu conhecer mais sobre a empresa, processos de produção e vivenciar um pouco do dia-a-dia dos funcionários”.
Para o coordenador do JPS-SP Thomas Ficarelli, essas experiências são de fundamental importância. “sabemos que as faculdades organizam eventualmente essas visitas técnicas, no entanto os grupos de alunos costumam ser muito grandes. No JPS, em grupos pequenos conseguimos passar bastante tempo diretamente com os funcionários desses locais. É enriquecedor pelo conhecimento e pela experiência profissional. Além disso, é ótimo para os participantes fazerem um balanço para saber como o conhecimento toma forma nas ações do dia-a-dia.”

O programa é multidisciplinar e está aberto a profissionais de todas as áreas do conhecimento que vejam o saneamento como uma prioridade para a melhoria da qualidade ambiental e de vida da população brasileira.
