ABES prestigia abertura da FENASAN 2016

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental marcou presença na cerimônia de abertura da 27ª Feira Nacional de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente – FENASAN-2016, nesta segunda-feira, 15 de agosto.

Estiveram presentes na cerimônia o presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, o vice-presidente da ABES-SP, Márcio Gonçalves de Oliveira, e o diretor da Seção São Paulo e presidente da APECS, Luiz Roberto Gravina Pladevall. Na abertura, o presidente da AESabesp, Olavo Alberto Prates Sachs, também recebeu o secretário Nacional de Saneamento Ambiental, Alceu Segamarchi, o presidente da Sabesp, Jerson Kelman, e o Diretor Metropolitano da Companhia, Paulo Massato, entre outras autoridades.

Nesta edição, o Encontro Técnico – Congresso Nacional de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente, que acontece simultaneamente à FENASAN, tem como tema principal “Água ou Escassez: Qual o futuro que queremos”. “É agora que nossos filhos e netos precisam de soluções. Podem dizer que em 2016 a natureza foi mais generosa que em 2014 e 2015. Contudo, esta crise (de escassez hídrica em São Paulo) sempre estará em nossa memória. Ela provocou uma mudança na consciência do uso da água”, afirmou o presidente da AESabesp na cerimônia. “O tema central do congresso, ‘água ou escassez, qual o futuro que queremos?’, nos remete a uma das mais importantes reflexões do século 21, o enfrentamento da crise para garantir a qualidade e a quantidade de água para as futuras gerações. Os cerca de 20 mil visitantes esperados para a Fenasan 2016 certamente irão encontrar as maiores empresas do setor com seus equipamentos, sistemas, produtos e serviços para otimização do saneamento ambiental”, declarou Sachs.

O secretário Segamarchi  destacou que a crise hídrica que atingiu o sudeste ocorre em um porção de regiões do Brasil e com intensidade nunca vista. “Se continuar do jeito que está o Rio São Francisco, iremos transpor  água – se ainda houver – aquém do desejado. Boa parte daquelas cidades (da Bacia de São Francisco) não estão em uma situação melhor, pelo contrário. O Rio São Francisco hoje é um grande recebedor de todo tipo de poluente derivado da agricultura e de uma parte considerável de resíduos sólidos. Espero que a gente possa replicar essa situação confortável que vivemos agora em São Paulo no São Francisco.”

Jerson Kelman, presidente da Sabesp, ressaltou o cenário atual positivo, em relação à crise de escassez hídrica enfrentada em 2014. “É muito agradável estar aqui de volta em uma situação diferente. A crise está ultrapassada, foi vencida com um pouco de sorte, o trabalho de nós todos e também pela adesão da população. Estamos agora em outro momento, colocando o trem nos trilhos. Temos quantidade significativa de investimentos a serem feitos e retomamos nossa agenda de combater às perdas. Temos muita coisa pela frente.”

Kelman também destacou “o empenho do Governo Federal em retomar o investimento em infraestrutura”: “É um momento especial, a iniciativa privada é bem-vinda. O Brasil é muito grande, o que puder ser feito pelas empresas estaduais deve ser feito, as parcerias com a iniciativa privada devem ser expandidas. Todos visamos prestar o melhor serviço possível.”

E lembrou aos presentes que, em 2017, um setor viverá um grande marco, com a realização em conjunto o 29º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, o 28º Encontro Técnico AESabesp e a 28ª Feira Nacional de Saneamento e Meio Ambiente – FENASAN, os maiores eventos de saneamento e meio ambiente da América Latina, que serão promovidos em edição única e especial na cidade de São Paulo em 2017 – de 03 a 05 de outubro -, constituindo o maior evento de saneamento e meio ambiente já realizado no continente americano. O São Paulo Expo (antigo Centro de Convenções Imigrantes, totalmente reformulado) sediará o evento. “Temos o desafio de realizar juntos em 2017, aqui em São Paulo. Com certeza, vai ser o maior congresso de todos e a maior feira da América Latina. “Vamos reunir essas duas marcas – A AESabesp e a ABES,- e realizar um grande evento ano que vem.”

Para o vice-presidente da ABES-SP, a abertura foi muito importante nesse cenário no Brasil em que muitos estados ainda passam pela crise hídrica. “Teremos muitas palestras e mesas redondas sobre a escassez, a água o tratamento e coleta de esgoto”. Sobre os eventos em 2017, afirmou: “O ano que vem, o Congresso da ABES, juntamente com a feira e a parceria com a AESabesp, formarão um grandioso evento na América Latina. Faço um chamamento a todos do setor de resíduos sólidos, de tratamento e de perdas a ter uma participação forte.”

O diretor Luiz Roberto Gravina Pladevall frisou o empenho da ABES-SP na realização do Congresso em 2017. “A ABES e AESabesp estão muito bem alinhadas nessa condução e vai ser um sucesso.”
