ABES-MG e ABES-ES presentes no seminário sobre Sustentabilidade dos Serviços de Água Rural do Banco Mundial

Na última quinta-feira, dia 17 de novembro, a presidente da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Minhas Gerais (ABES-MG) e coordenadora da Câmara Temática de Saneamento Rural, Monica Bicalho Pinto Rodrigues, e a diretora da ABES Seção Espírito Santo (ABES-ES), Marcia Azevedo, participaram do Seminário “Rumo à Sustentabilidade dos Serviços de Água Rural – Modelos de Gestão e Ferramentas para Planejamento”. O evento, que ocorreu em Brasilia/DF, foi promovido pelo Banco Mundial.

O encontro teve como objetivos: apresentar modelos de gestão de sistemas de abastecimento de água rural documentados no Brasil e no mundo, com foco na sustentabilidade, lições aprendidas e desafios; apresentar o SIASAR – Sistema de Informações em Saneamento Rural, sua aplicação e usos na realidade da América Latina e do Ceará; discutir lições aprendidas e principais desafios no setor de água rural para garantir a sustentabilidade dos sistemas; além de lançar e disseminar a publicação número 13 da Série Água Brasil do Banco Mundial.
