Congresses

Held every two years, congresses have been considered a mandatory program for every company and professional in sanitation. They are currently regarded as the most significant debating forums by the environmental sanitation sector of the Americas.
Congresses schedules are elaborated by an Organizing Committee together with the participation of hundreds of specialists from different knowledge areas in environmental and sanitary engineering. There is also no lack of space for debating about public policies which, ultimately, direct the sanitation sector. While establishing guidelines, objectives, deadlines and resources, these policies design the framework through which everything can be provided: starting with new water quality or waste control technology, going through service and business managing quality and reaching the evaluation of customers´ level of satisfaction.

The International Technology Fair (Fitabes) which occurs during the congresses is dedicated to products, equipments and services that are linked to the sanitation sector. It´s also a place for producers and potential buyers to meet and to know each other, building a relationship network that can endure for many years, with mutual benefits. Through its Editorial Fund, ABES is also constantly present in Fitabes.
