28º CBESA: Sanepar lança Prêmio de Tecnologias Sustentáveis

Durante o 28º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, que começa neste domingo e vai até quinta-feira, dia 8, a Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná (Sanepar) lançará a 1ª edição do Prêmio Sanepar de Tecnologias Sustentáveis (PSTS). A cerimônia de lançamento ocorrerá no dia 6 de outubro, terça-feira, às 12h30, no estande da Sanepar na Fitabes, com a presença do presidente da Companhia, Mounir Chaowiche, e de Luciano Valério Machado, da Diretoria de Meio Ambiente (DMA).

O objetivo do Prêmio é identificar e reconhecer trabalhos de referência no país. Nesta edição, o PSTS irá selecionar, premiar e divulgar trabalhos técnicos, desenvolvidos em instituições brasileiras de ensino, públicas ou privadas, que versem sobre “Eficiência energética no saneamento”, buscando soluções sustentáveis para a conservação, a racionalização e a produção de energia no setor de saneamento.

Atualmente, o tema energia tem sido muito discutido pela sociedade brasileira, sobretudo por causa das incertezas sobre sua disponibilidade e dos significativos aumentos tarifários. A energia é um insumo imprescindível para os processos industriais e sua disponibilidade, custo e qualidade influenciam diretamente a capacidade competitiva das empresas. Em tempos em que o aquecimento global e as mudanças climáticas são assuntos de repercussão mundial, a implementação de ações de eficiência energética torna-se fundamental para minimizar impactos ambientais, recuperar receitas e reduzir emissões de gases de efeito estufa. Nesse sentido, por meio da conservação e do uso racional da energia, procura-se a sustentabilidade não apenas econômica, mas também social e ambiental.

As empresas do setor de saneamento são grandes consumidoras de energia elétrica. De modo geral, elas possuem instalações que demandam alto consumo de energia, o que gera muitos custos, podendo até comprometer significativamente seu  faturamento. Torna-se, assim, imprescindível pesquisar e fomentar soluções para minimizar custos operacionais, garantindo que recursos sejam aplicados de maneira mais eficiente e permitindo a continuidade dos projetos que podem universalizar o saneamento.

A Sanepar espera que o Prêmio Sanepar de Tecnologias Sustentáveis seja um estímulo para a busca dessas soluções inteligentes e quer que  pesquisadores e instituições de ensino tornem-se parceiros em sua preocupação em relação à construção de um futuro sustentável, garantindo os direitos desta e de outras gerações, inclusive o direito à água, ao saneamento e a um ambiente preservado e cuidado como patrimônios de todos nós.

Inscrições:  6 de outubro de 2015 a 15 de março de 2016 pelo site: http://premio.sanepar.com.br

Participantes: podem participar estudantes de graduação, especialização, mestrado ou doutorado que tenham desenvolvido pesquisa sobre “Eficiência energética no saneamento” entre os anos de 2013 a 2015 em instituições de ensino superior brasileiras, públicas ou privadas.

Premiação – O Prêmio Sanepar de Tecnologias Sustentáveis terá duas categorias: “Graduação ou especialização” e “Mestrado e doutorado”. Serão premiados os três melhores trabalhos acadêmicos em cada uma delas. Os trabalhos serão classificados em primeiro, segundo e terceiro lugares, em cada categoria, e serão publicados em livro. Os vencedores ainda receberão prêmios em dinheiro, troféus e um certificado.

Os prêmios em dinheiro serão assim distribuídos:

Graduação  especialização:

1.º lugar: R$15.000,00;

2.º lugar: R$10.000,00;

3.º lugar: R$5.000,00.

 

Mestrado ou doutorado:

1.º lugar: R$20.000,00;

2.º lugar: R$15.000,00;

3.º lugar: R$10.000,00.

 

Resultados finais: até 25 de maio de 2016.

Cerimônia de premiação: 21 de junho de 2016

Lançamento do livro: até 10 de novembro de 2016.
