Congresso da ABES 2021: lançado o Pitch Live, que selecionará startups com soluções para o saneamento ambiental

Iniciativa é uma realização conjunta entre a ABES e a Agência Curitiba de Desenvolvimento e Inovação, por meio do movimento Vale do Pinhão. As inscrições já estão abertas.

Nesta segunda-feira, 30 de agosto, foi lançada uma das novidades do Congresso da ABES 2021: o Pitch Live, que selecionará startups com soluções para o saneamento ambiental no Brasil. A iniciativa é uma realização conjunta entre a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES e a Agência Curitiba de Desenvolvimento e Inovação, por meio do movimento Vale do Pinhão. O lançamento aconteceu por meio do ABES Conecta, com transmissão online pelo canal da Associação no YouTube (assista aqui). As inscrições estão abertas aqui.

Com a apresentação e moderação de Selma Cubas, presidente da ABES Seção Paraná (ABES-PR), evento contou com a participação de Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, presidente nacional da ABES; Luiz Henrique Bucco, presidente do 31º Congresso da ABES; Cris Alessi, presidente da Agência Curitiba de Desenvolvimento e Inovação; Marlon Cardoso, coordenador de Projetos da Agência Curitiba; e Pierre Siqueira, coordenador adjunto da Câmara Temática de Tecnologia da Informação e Inovação da ABES. 

A apresentação do Pitch Live foi realizada por Marlon Cardoso, que explicou os principais aspectos da iniciativa, destacando que o Pitch Live é uma organização que se relaciona com as esferas nacional, estadual e municipal, atingindo assim as startups de todo o Brasil. A realização será feita de forma previa e simultânea ao Congresso da ABES 2021, que ocorrerá  de 17 a 20 de outubro no formato híbrido: presencial, em Curitiba, PR, e online, em plataforma digital. Na abertura do lançamento, Alceu Guérios Bittencourt comentou que o setor do saneamento é muito propicio para a inovação por ser uma área complexa, que gera oportunidades e também desafios. “Eu acredito que a parceria com o Vale do Pinhão, vai ampliar as possibilidades do nosso congresso de tratar da inovação além do que a gente já pretendia fazer”, frisou. “Foi muito oportuno o esforço da ABES Paraná, que está estruturando o congresso, em buscar essa parceria e estamos muito animados e na expectativa de que ela vai produzir resultados”, completou o presidente nacional da ABES. 

Cris Alessi destacou a evolução da sustentabilidade e de sua melhoria contínua. Reforçou a importância do tema do congresso (Cidades Inteligentes), enfatizando que este está diretamente ligado às novas formas de desenvolvimento do setor. Cris Alessi pontuou ainda os cinco pilares base utilizados no Vale do Pinhão: tecnologia e informações, legislação e incentivos fiscais, educação empreendedora e digital, integração e articulação, e, reurbanização e sustentabilidade. 

Luiz Henrique Bucco mencionou a estrutura que está sendo preparada para o evento, destacou alguns dos grandes temas que serão abordados durante os três dias do congresso, além da apresentação de trabalhos técnicos. Reforçou também que o evento será realizado em conjunto com a FITABES, uma das maiores feiras de tecnologia e saneamento ambiental da América Latina. Ao final, deixou a todos o convite para participarem do evento, presencialmente ou online.

Pierre Siqueira, por sua vez, falou sobre o espaço para as startups que terá dentro do congresso e como isso atrai muitas pessoas mais jovens. Ressaltou a magnitude do evento e sua importância para a apresentação de novas abordagens e tecnologias para a sustentabilidade e o saneamento.    

A trajetória

O Brasil tem atualmente cerca de 13 mil startups que desenvolvem soluções para o desenvolvimento sustentável, no Paraná são 1434 empresas. Na capital, local do Congresso, são 422 empresas com alto potencial de crescimento que trabalham na área. Esse é o público do Pitch Live do Congresso. A ideia é descortinar soluções para o setor do saneamento ambiental com olhos no tripé da sustentabilidade: ambiental, econômico e social. O Pitch Live é uma competição entre startups que vai avaliar os projetos inscritos sob os seguintes aspectos:

– Incentivo à inovação, ciência e tecnologia;

– Fomento à “Nova Economia”;

– Aplicação do conceito ESG;

– Soluções para o saneamento ambiental pela Engenharia;

No final do processo uma startup será premiada. As inscrições podem ser feitas por meio deste link.

Congresso da ABES 2021

Com o tema “Cidades Inteligentes conectadas com o saneamento e o meio ambiente: desafio dos novos tempos”, o 31º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, o Congresso da ABES, será realizado em formato híbrido: de forma presencial, em Curitiba, no Paraná, e também online, em plataforma digital exclusiva e interativa. A realização é da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES. Na edição 2021, os participantes pagam o mesmo valor para as duas modalidades de inscrição: presencial ou online. O congresso discutirá o desafio de como tornar as cidades e comunidades inteligentes, conectadas, resilientes e sustentáveis, considerando os pilares do saneamento básico como a base para atingir os Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS) da Agenda 2030 da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).

Realizado a cada dois anos, o Congresso da ABES é o maior e mais qualificado e expressivo evento do setor no país, reunindo especialistas nacionais e internacionais, gestores públicos, profissionais do setor, acadêmicos, estudantes, prestadores de serviços públicos e privados e fornecedores de equipamentos, entre outros.

O evento acontecerá simultaneamente à Fitabes – Feira Internacional de Tecnologias de Saneamento Ambiental, que apresentará as mais recentes inovações tecnológicas do setor de saneamento inseridas no contexto das cidades inteligentes.
