Conheça a nova coordenação do Comitê Nacional de Qualidade da ABES

Nesta terça-feira, 23 de novembro, durante a cerimônia de premiação do PNQS – Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade em Saneamento 2016, promovido pela ABES, por meio do seu Comitê Nacional de Qualidade – CNQA, foi anunciada a nova coordenação do Comitê.

Os novos coordenadores são Rosana Dias, Gerente PMO Projeto SiiS – Sistema Integrado de Informações da Sabesp; Maria Ângela Dumont Sargaço (adjunta), Assessora da Diretoria de Operações da Sanepar; e Márcio Romero, Gerente de Negócios da ENGdB, que assume a secretaria geral.

O Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade em Saneamento é uma das ferramentas que têm mostrado grande eficácia para a melhoria e aperfeiçoamento dos processos de gestão nas empresas de saneamento brasileiras. Reconhecido pela International Water Association (IWA) como a mais importante ferramenta de gestão dos serviços de saneamento ambiental, o PNQS estimula a adoção de modelos gerenciais compatíveis com os melhores exemplos mundiais.

“O PNQS é muito importante porque ele alavanca as empresas de saneamento e ajuda as organizações a trazerem inovações não em relação às tecnologias, mas principalmente no campo da gestão”, destaca a nova coordenadora do CNQA. “Isso ajuda o setor a se profissionalizar. É um setor bastante carente, principalmente quando temos empresas estaduais que são muito mais estruturadas em termos de investimento, de infraestrutura. Mas também temos as municipais que não têm às vezes tanto investimento e infraestrutura”, explica.

O prêmio, segundo ela, traz esse avanço por meio de modelos de excelência. “Ajuda as empresas a se estruturarem melhor, a priorizarem seus investimentos e a terem ganho em todos os critérios que o prêmio proporciona: pessoas, fornecedores, inovação, liderança e suas estratégias em planos de informações”, frisa. “O PNQS está contribuindo para organizar tudo isso para chegar em resultados melhores para que possamos a universalização dos serviços e a melhoria da qualidade de vida da população e do meio ambiente. Em resumo, agrega para as empresas de saneamento: profissionalização, modernidade, inovação e resultados”, conclui Rosana Dias.

Já Maria Ângela Dumont Sargaço ressalta que a nova função é uma importante conquista e uma também uma enorme responsabilidade. “Esse é um grande reconhecimento pelo tempo que trabalho com o PNQS, não só dentro da Sanepar, mas direta e indiretamente com o CNQA em todos esses anos que atuo – desde 1999”, lembra. “Na Sanepar, sempre fui bastante ativa. Tenho uma paixão por esse projeto, que acho importantíssimo para o setor de saneamento e um grande desfio. Há muitas coisas que podem ser melhoradas, muita coisa que o Brasil inteiro espera”, diz.

De acordo com Maria Ângela, quando se cogitou a hipótese de parar com o PNQS foi um levante geral. “Não podemos parar com isso. E, ao mesmo tempo, fazê-lo continuar rodando é um grande desafio principalmente em termos de recursos. Nada se faz sem recursos e disponibilidade de gente, não só dos coordenadores ou das pessoas formais do CNQA, mas de todas as pessoas das empresas de saneamento que nos ajudam no dia a dia a trabalhar tanto no PNQS como nos novos projetos que estamos desenhando para os próximos anos”.

Marcio Romero, o novo secretário do CNQA, lembrou que o setor de saneamento é crucial para o Brasil tanto a água como o tratamento de esgotamento sanitário para cuidar da saúde da população no país. “Preocupar-se com as melhores práticas e melhorar a gestão dessas empresas significa trabalhar na melhoria da qualidade de vida, que haverá muito mais recursos disponíveis e otimização daquilo que já é utilizado atualmente”, disse. “Ter uma boa gestão de uma empresa de saneamento é essencial, ainda mais no cenário que vivemos no Brasil – de crise política e financeira. Precisamos ter uma gestão eficiente dos poucos recursos que temos. A premiação no nível do PNQS é importante justamente para fomentar essa ideia para trazer o máximo de resultado, o que vai acabar colaborando para a qualidade de vida da população”, finalizou Márcio.

Novidades em 2017

Na cerimônia, Roberval Tavares de Souza, presidente nacional da ABES, anunciou novidades para o PNQS, que passa a ser anual e terá edição em 2017, com as mesmas categorias e três grandes novas premiações.

Uma delas é a categoria Rubi, voltada a organizações que ganharam o nível IV e têm que continuar na excelência da gestão.

Passará também a integrar o PNQS o Prêmio de Eficiência Operacional voltado à redução de perdas.

E ano que vem a iniciativa contemplará os prestadores de serviços, com o Selo de Qualidade, para empresas que prestam serviços às concessionárias.

“Nós temos o grande desafio que fica para a ABES e para nova coordenação, que é ter o mesmo sucesso dos últimos 20 anos ou um êxito maior – porque este prêmio é oportunidade de melhoria gerando sucesso – e que continuemos tocando o setor de saneamento e melhorando a saúde deste país e a qualidade de vida dos cidadãos brasileiros”, ressaltou Roberval.
