A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, por meio da Câmara Temática de Resíduos Sólidos, disponibiliza a programação geral da décima quarta edição do Seminário Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos, que acontecerá online, entre os dias 16 e 18 de março de 2021. As inscrições para o evento já estão abertas e podem ser feitas aqui.
A novidade deste ano será a estreia do Desafio do Saneamento com Foco em Resíduos Sólidos, que busca soluções inovadoras para as temáticas de resíduos, além da realização do I Painel Internacional de Resíduos Sólidos, reunindo especialistas para tratar sobre o impacto da covid-19 no setor de resíduos sólidos na região da América Latina e Caribe.
Além disso, o seminário trará como tema central nesta edição os dez anos da Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos, seus avanços, retrocessos e desafios. Neste contexto, serão tratadas questões como gestão e gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos, tecnologias e rotas de tratamento dos resíduos sólidos urbanos, implantação de aterros sanitários e encerramento de lixões, regulação e financiamento em sistemas de resíduos sólidos, coleta seletiva, logística reversa e participação das associações e cooperativas de catadores.
