A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Minas Gerais (ABES-MG) promoverá, nos dias 16 e 30 de setembro e 14 e 28 de outubro (sábados), na sede da entidade, em Belo Horizonte/MG, o curso “Além da Águas – Estratégias de Comunicação para os Comitês de Bacia”. As inscrições estão abertas até o dia 12 de setembro (aqui).
O objetivo da atividade, que ocorrerá das 10h às 17h, é municiar os comitês de bacia de conhecimento técnico para que possam desenvolver estratégias próprias de comunicação com os diversos públicos da área onde atuam e, ao mesmo tempo, implementar estas estratégias.
Minas Gerais possui 36 Comitês de Bacias Hidrográficas. São organizações locais que desenvolvem um importante trabalho de preservação e uso racional dos recursos hídricos. Entretanto, por deficiências na comunicação, nem sempre o trabalho dos comitês é reconhecido pela sociedade, que, por sua vez, também perde a oportunidade de participar de muitas das ações que os comitês desenvolvem. A ideia do curso desenvolvido pela ABES-MG é justamente preencher esta lacuna.
O curso
Os participantes receberão informações sobre as ferramentas de comunicação disponíveis na atualidade, o que inclui as chamadas mídias tradicionais (rádio, jornais e TVs), e também as ligadas à internet, como as redes sociais. Compreendendo o funcionamento e as vantagens de cada uma destas mídias, serão orientados a elaborar um projeto de comunicação para seu próprio comitê. No final do curso, os projetos serão apresentados e discutidos pelos participantes e, com o apoio técnico dos professores, farão os ajustes necessários para que cada comitê possa implementar seu projeto de comunicação.
Para Rogério Siqueira, presidente da ABES-MG, o curso é importante por duas razões. A primeira porque irá introduzir nos comitês a preocupação de pensar a comunicação como parte de seu projeto estratégico. A segunda razão é o sentido prático do curso, que é oferecer aos alunos as ferramentas disponíveis, na atualidade, para que os comitês de bacia possam implementar seus projetos de comunicação.

O curso é voltado aos dirigentes e integrantes de comitês de bacia; formuladores de políticas públicas de meio ambiente; ativistas ambientais; além de profissionais e estudantes de comunicação e engenharias sanitária e ambiental.
