Com palestra para estudantes da UNIP, JPS-SP lança novo Núcleo em São José do Rio Preto

O Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da ABES Seção São Paulo (JPS-SP) promoveu, no dia 15 de setembro, na Universidade Paulista (UNIP-JK), a abertura do Núcleo JPS São José do Rio Preto (JPS-SJDP). Na ocasião, o coordenador do JPS-SP, Thomas Ficarelli, que organizou o evento, juntamente com o coordenador do novo Núcleo, Igor Furlan, ministrou uma palestra para cerca de 40 estudantes do curso de Engenharia Civil da universidade.

Em sua apresentação, Ficarelli discorreu sobre as atividades, questões direcionadas a emprego, conhecimento técnico/acadêmico, atividades voluntárias (Dia de Sol e Dia Mundial da Água) e expansão do programa para cidades fora de São Paulo. O novo núcleo será coordenado por Igor Furlan e Wendel… será o coordenador adjunto.

Para Thomas Ficarelli, o evento foi interessante porque foram discutidos problemas de saneamento ambiental da cidade de São José do Rio Preto. “Abordamos as questões dos canaviais, da poluição atmosférica e mostramos quais atividades podem ser desenvolvidas no núcleo”, explicou. “Enviaremos um convite para os jovens se cadastrarem no JPS e se associarem à ABES. O coordenador do curso de Engenharia da UNIP também esteve presente abordando a importância dos jovens serem protagonistas, associando-se à ABES e às principais questões do saneamento do país”, finalizou o coordenador do JPS-SP.
