ABES-AM apresenta iniciativas à COSAMA

O presidente da ABES – Seção Amazonas (ABES-AM), engenheiro Rainier Pedraça de Azevedo, foi recebido na última sexta-feira, 3 de março, pela Diretoria da Companhia de Saneamento do Amazonas (COSAMA), presidida por Manuel Henrique Ribeiro. A reunião abordou a situação do saneamento no Amazonas e a atuação da COSAMA no interior do Estado, que deixou de atuar na capital amazonense em 1999. Também foi discutida a revisão do marco legal do saneamento e a regulação do setor no Estado.

Rainier expôs o planejamento da ABES-AM para 2018 e listou as principais atividades desenvolvidas pela Diretoria Nacional da ABES, destacando a UNIABES, a maior plataforma EAD (educação a distância) do Brasil para cursos do Saneamento Ambiental. Possíveis parcerias para capacitar os servidores da companhia também foram tratadas na reunião.

Na oportunidade, divulgou-se que estão abertas as inscrições para três novos cursos EAD de Regulação no Setor de Saneamento (Base de Remuneração Regulatória – BRR e seu impacto no planejamento, Contabilidade Regulatória e Indicadores, Técnicas de Benchmarking e Yardstick Competition). O presidente da ABES-AM fez o convite para que os servidores da Companhia participem do XIV Sibesa – Simpósio Ìtalo-Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, que será realizado em Foz do Iguaçu/PR, em junho, e da Rio Water Week – Semana Internacional da Água do Rio, que acontecerá em novembro deste ano.
