ABES-SP presente no lançamento do Sistema de Gerenciamento Online de Resíduos Sólidos do estado

Nesta sexta, 13 de abril, a diretora da ABES Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP), Roseane M. Garcia Lopes de Souza, que é também coordenadora das Câmaras Técnicas de Saúde Pública e Resíduos Sólidos da entidade, integrou a mesa de abertura do lançamento do SIGOR – Sistema de Gerenciamento Online de Resíduos Sólidos do Estado de São Paulo. O encontro aconteceu na sede da Secretaria do Meio Ambiente e contou com a presença de representantes de cooperativas, de órgãos públicos e privados e de organizações não governamentais.

Além de Roseane, participaram da mesa: Gil K Scatena, coordenador de planejamento ambiental – CPLA, que apresentou sobre o SIGOR; Flávio Miranda Ribeiro, do Departamento de Politicas Públicas de Resíduos Sólidos – Eficiência dos Recursos Naturais, da Cetesb; Carlos Roberto dos Santos, presidente da Cetesb; Maurício Brusadin, secretário de Estado do Meio Ambiente; Ricardo Gomes, superintendente Estadual da Funasa e Roberto Laureano Rocha, representante do Movimento Nacional de Catadores de Materiais Recicláveis – MNCR.

O SIGOR – Módulo Reciclagem é um instrumento da Política Estadual de Resíduos Sólidos para acompanhamento dos fluxos dos resíduos sólidos urbanos recicláveis no Estado de São Paulo. O objetivo é divulgar o trabalho desenvolvido pelas entidades de catadores, além de orientar o poder público e iniciativa privada no planejamento das formas de apoio às entidades. “Enquanto ABES-SP, devemos colaborar com o processo, com os setores, com as secretarias, com o órgão público”, destacou Roseane em sua apresentação, após agradecer à Secretaria de Meio Ambiente pelo convite. “Esta é uma categoria que está reconhecida em termos da Classificação Brasileira de Ocupação. O catador é um trabalhador e deve ser respeitado como tal e ser incluído em políticas públicas pelas prefeituras com relação à coleta seletiva, que faz parte do plano de resíduos sólidos”, disse a engenheira.

Roseane destaca que a colaboração da ABES-SP no SIGOR é um pequeno pontapé na questão da saúde. “Tem cooperativa sendo fechada por questões de saúde. Não precisamos fechar e sim melhorar as boas práticas e, consequentemente, seu funcionamento”, frisou.

Roseane afirmou, ainda, que o SIGOR módulo reciclagem é importante tanto para o sistema ambiental como para a Política Estadual de Resíduos Sólidos “porque, por meio do cadastro, vai ser possível saber quantas cooperativas existem no Estado de São Paulo. Elas poderão ser reconhecidas e ter ajuda de outras entidades para melhorarem as suas performances”.

Guia de saúde do catador

Segundo a diretora da ABE-SP, além da questão da economia de escala, são fortíssimas no âmbito das cooperativas os temas segurança e saúde. Neste sentido, a seção está preparando um guia de saúde do catador, que pretende lançar no final do ano.  “Muitas vezes existe o alto risco da exposição do catador, mas que com simples informações e rearranjos é possível minimizar e tornar a cooperativa mais salubre”, explicou. Pretendemos lançar esta publicação, que vai colaborar com o setor, no final do ano”, acrescentou Roseane.
