Mais uma ação no STF pede suspensão da MP do Saneamento

O Partido dos Trabalhadores (PT) entrou, no Supremo Tribunal Federal, nesta terça-feira, 4 de setembro, com ação de inconstitucionalidade (ADI 6.006) contra a Medida Provisória 844/18. A MP foi editada pelo Governo Federal em 6 de julho e atualiza o marco legal do saneamento.

A ABES é contra a MP 844 (veja aqui o posicionamento da entidade).

Em 21 de agosto último, o Partido Socialista Brasileiro (PSB) protocolou no STF ação com o mesmo objetivo (saiba mais aqui http://abes-dn.org.br/?p=19899)

Na petição inicial da ADI 6.006, o PT assinala que a edição da MP 844/18, que mudou o marco legal a fim de “garantir maior segurança jurídica aos investimentos no setor de saneamento básico e aperfeiçoar a legislação de gestão dos recursos hídricos e a de saneamento básico, assim como a interação entre as políticas públicas dessas duas áreas, surpreendeu toda a comunidade e as instituições que lidam com o saneamento e o meio ambiente”. 525 emendas foram apresentadas por parlamentares da Câmara dos Deputados e do Senado Federal, perante a Comissão Mista instituída para a apreciação da matéria.
