ABES-RS: conheça os vencedores do V Prêmio José Lutzenberger de Jornalismo Ambiental

Cerimônia realizada na Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana premiou os melhores trabalhos com foco ambiental

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS, em parceria com a Associação Riograndense de Imprensa – ARI e a Braskem, promoveu nesta terça, 6 de novembro, em Porto Alegre, a cerimônia de premiação dos vencedores da quinta edição do Prêmio José Lutzenberger de Jornalismo Ambiental. O evento aconteceu na Casa de Cultura Mário Quintana e contou com a presença de jornalistas dos mais representativos veículos de comunicação do RS.

A cerimônia foi conduzida pelas jornalistas Lara Ely e Carol Anchieta. A apresentação da noite ficou por conta da cantora Valeria, gaúcha radicada no Rio de Janeiro, que despertou no cenário musical apresentando os sucessos da cantora Whitney Houston.

Para a presidente da ABES-RS, Jussara Kalil, é papel dos jornalistas motivarem a sociedade a participar do debate sobre a área ambiental, com redações abertas a estas pautas e professores que levem este tema para o debate em sala de aula.

O presidente da Associação Riograndense de Imprensa (ARI), Luiz Adolfo de Souza, destacou a importância do papel do jornalista e do seu trabalho para a sociedade.

Milton Simas, presidente do Sindicato dos Jornalistas do Rio Grande do Sul, falou em nome dos jurados. Ele enfatizou a importância da pauta ambiental e do jornalista instigar esse tema em suas produções. A Relações Institucionais da Braskem, Vick Martinez, destacou a importância do trabalho realizado pela empresa, em prol da sustentabilidade.

Ao final da cerimônia, os profissionais inscritos e que estavam presentes ao ato, participaram de um sorteio que garantia uma vaga na cerimônia do Prêmio Octávio Brandão de Jornalismo Ambiental em Maceió, em 2019. A premiação é realizada pela Braskem, em parceria com a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (ABES-AL) e Sindicato dos Jornalistas de Alagoas (Sindjornal). O ganhador da viagem foi o jornalista Nelson Goulart.

A comissão julgadora foi formada pelos profissionais da ABES-RS; do Sindicato dos Jornalistas Profissionais do RS; da Associação dos Repórteres Fotográficos e Cinematográficos do Estado do RS e por representantes da ARI.

Vale destacar que, este ano, o troféu entregue foi produzido com massa de banner, pela empresa Ciclo Reverso, uma solução que aposta na transformação de resíduos para gerar impacto socioambiental positivo envolvendo pessoas.
