A primeira turma do MBA Saneamento Ambiental, uma parceria entre a FESPSP – Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política e a ABES/UNIABES, está realizando nesta semana, de 11 a 15 de novembro, o Módulo Internacional na London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). O objetivo da iniciativa é preparar profissionais e novas lideranças para o setor de saneamento.
O vice-presidente da ABES-SP e professor do curso, Luiz Roberto Gravina Pladevall, integra o grupo. “O MBA já é um diferencial e um up porque traz uma visão mais genérica e a oportunidade para o profissional conhecer as demandas de outras áreas. O curso em si é bem completo e vir para um país desenvolvido como a Inglaterra, além de poder ter contato com professores de altíssimo nível e participar de visitas técnicas, é uma abertura de mentalidade”, avalia. Dante Ragazzi Pauli, coordenador da Câmara Temática de Comunicação da ABES e docente do curso, também acompanha o grupo.
O Módulo Internacional reúne casos globais, contemplando a transformação do setor em diversos países e preparando profissionais para o futuro. Durante o evento, diversos temas são abordados, como infraestrutura, política, economia e estratégias.
Ao longo da programação, especialistas apresentam experiências bem-sucedidas e erros, que se tornam aprendizado e são compartilhados para que não sejam repetidos pelos demais profissionais.
Dentre as atividades previstas na programação estão palestras sobre regulação técnica e econômica, sustentabilidade, gestão de contratos e projetos de infraestrutura, mudanças climáticas e estratégias para parcerias público-privadas.
Além das palestras, serão apresentadas informações sobre parcerias locais, estudos de casos e ainda serão feitas visitas, como ao campus da LSE e ao Thames Tideway. No último dia, haverá um painel com as lições aprendidas e aplicação ao Brasil. A programação será encerrada com uma cerimônia de graduação.
O Professor Elcires Pimenta, coordenador do curso, ressalta que o módulo está sendo extremamente importante. “Está complementando todo o conjunto de conhecimentos que os alunos tiverem no Brasil. Estamos vivendo a experiência macho internacional global, que permite a gente ter avaliação crítica sobre as grandes discussões que temos no Brasil. O curso tem sido muito produtivo, de certe forma justifica plenamente todo o esforço que a gente faz pra ter este módulo, que é inédito num curso deste tipo: a qualidade das aprsentações, os professores, ter contato com os maiores especialistas do mundo.”

A London School of Economics and Political Science, LSE, foi fundada em 1895. É uma das principais instituições de ensino em ciências sociais do mundo.
