Senado aprova incentivo às empresas de serviços de saneamento básico

Senador Roberto Muniz (PP/BA)

O Plenário do Senado aprovou, nesta quarta-feira (6), o substitutivo da Câmara dos Deputados ao projeto de lei do Senado (setor (SCD 4/2016) que estabelece diretrizes nacionais para o saneamento básico, criando o Regime Especial de Incentivos para o Desenvolvimento do Saneamento Básico – REISB.

No encaminhamento favorável à proposta, o senador Roberto Muniz (PP/BA) destacou a importância da nova legislação para reverter o atual cenário e contribuir para “o resgate de um importante apartheid social”, que é a questão do saneamento.

“Nós temos a cada três brasileiros, apenas um com tratamento de esgoto; e a cada dois brasileiros, apenas um tem a sua coleta efetivada. Esses recursos darão fôlego para o setor e serão um passo importante para retomar a capacidade de investimento das companhias para ampliar a capacidade de saneamento da população. E, principalmente, tirar do esgoto e da lama, e fazer que chegue água na torneira de mais de 100 milhões de brasileiros que não têm os seus esgotos tratados”, destacou Muniz.

A proposta prevê estímulos à prestadora de serviços públicos de saneamento básico a aumentar seu volume de investimentos, por meio da concessão de créditos relativos à contribuição para o Programa de Integração Social – PIS e para o Programa de Formação do Patrimônio do Servidor Público – PASEP, além da Contribuição para Financiamento da Seguridade Social – COFINS.

Durante a votação, o senador Fernando Bezerra (PSB/PE) destacou a colaboração do senador Roberto Muniz, e destacou a colaboração dele com o conhecimento e a capacidade técnica para a elaboração do parecer final. “ Quero citar, em particular, o Senador Roberto Muniz, que é um especialista da área de saneamento, que contribuiu para a elaboração do parecer que foi apreciado e votado hoje na Comissão Especial do Pacto Federativo. E trouxemos, portanto, para votação final em plenário”, destacou.

Por sua vez, o senador baiano parabenizou o relator da proposta, senador Waldemir Moka (PMDB/MS). Após a aprovação pelo Senado, a matéria segue à sanção presidencial.

I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little vanilla. You might look at Yahoo’s home page and see how they createwrite post headlines to get viewers to click. You might add a video or a related picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve written. Just my opinion, it could bring your postsblog a little livelier.
