União quer privatizar tratamento de esgoto. BNDES vai discutir modelos para o setor com estados, diz Moreira

Rio de Janeiro - O secretário-executivo do Programa de Parcerias de Investimentos do Governo Federal, Moreira Franco, durante o Seminário “Segurança Jurídica e Governança na Contratação de Obras Públicas”, promovido pela Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) (Tânia Rêgo/Agência Brasil)

O secretário executivo do Programa de Parcerias de Investimentos da Presidência, Moreira Franco, afirmou que o BNDES vai procurar os governos estaduais para definir modelos de privatização para as empresas de saneamento. Segundo Moreira, o fornecimento de esgoto tratado no país é precário e falta clareza sobre qual é a autoridade regulatória do setor. O BNDES vai fazer reunião amanhã com o governo do Rio para tratar da situação da Cedae.
