Entra em vigor Acordo de Paris sobre mudança climática

Para a ONU, medida marca o início de um “novo capítulo para a humanidade” e demonstra que países estão levando a sério sua abordagem à mudança climática.

O Acordo de Paris sobre mudança climática, adotado em dezembro do ano passado durante a Conferência das Nações Unidas conhecida como COP 21, entra em vigor oficialmente nesta sexta-feira, 4 de novembro.

O documento, considerado um marco, entrou em vigor pouco antes da COP22, que começou na segunda, dia 7, e acontecerá até 18 de novembro no Marrocos.

Temperatura global

O acordo estabelece um caminho para que todos os países limitem o aumento da temperatura e fortaleçam a resiliência aos “impactos inevitáveis” da mudança climática.
