Semana da Água do RS 2023: webinar aborda expectativas e realidade do saneamento como profissão

Debate integra série de webinares com o tema ‘Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?’.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) está com uma programação especial para a 30ª edição da Semana da Água. Por meio do ABES Conecta, a Seção realizou uma série de webinares com o tema “Jornada Saneamento e Meio Ambiente: O que queremos para o Futuro?”.

A série de webinares contou com patrocínio da Corsan (Companhia Riograndense de Saneamento) e apoio a Condor, Quinta da Estância, Agesan (Ambiental, Geotecnia e Saneamentoental, Geotecnia e Saneamento) e Senge-RS (Sindicato dos Engenheiros no Estado do Rio Grande do Sul).

O objetivo foi promover um bate-papo online com e para jovens, tratando dos quatro pilares do saneamento: abastecimento público, esgotamento sanitário, drenagem urbana e resíduos sólidos.

Nesta terça-feira, 03 de outubro, o tema do debate foi “Expectativas e realidade do Saneamento como profissão”. A moderadora e debatedora foi Renata Oliveira, engenheira química, professora universitária na Ulbra e sócia-diretora na R&B Soluções Ambientais.

As convidadas foram Anelise Nadi Hüffner, engenheira ambiental e assessora do Ministério Público Estadual do Rio Grande do Sul; Roberta Arlêu Teixeira, coordenadora do Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento (JPS/ABES-RS); e Paula Moletta, consultora em Sustentabilidade e Lixo Zero, sócia do Green Thinking Project.

Na ocasião, as participantes falaram sobre a trajetória na área do saneamento e, sob a luz das próprias experiências, projetaram as expectativas para o desenvolvimento da profissão neste setor. Também abordaram a importância desse tipo de troca, principalmente entre mulheres, que formam uma rede de apoio e desenvolvimento.
