O programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento da ABES-SP (JPS-SP), que tem coordenação de Thomas Ficarelli, promoveu nesta terça-feira, 22 de novembro, mais uma atividade: o Encontro de Jovens Profissionais Brasil – Peru.
No evento, foram apresentadas palestras sobre o saneamento ambiental dos dois países.
O geógrafo Thomas Ficarelli abriu o debate contando sobre a atual situação macroeconômica e o aumento do desemprego entre os jovens no país. “Países como Peru, Chile e México têm apresentado boa competitividade e estão avançando em novos investimento, enquanto no Brasil há menor confiança do mercado quanto a novos investimentos nesse momento “, segundo ele.
Ficarelli discorreu sobre as dificuldades do saneamento, Plano Nacional de Saneamento Básico – PNSB, financiadores, investimentos e privatização. “Podemos encontrar diversas situações no saneamento em um único município”, afirmou o coordenador do JPS-SP.
Já o Peru enfrenta dificuldades para o desenvolvimento do saneamento e aprovação dos projetos devido a problemas financeiros no setor, de acordo com o engenheiro geográfico José Miguel Buendia Rojas. “Estamos com projetos parados devido à falta de dinheiro”, afirmou.
O engenheiro químico Miguel Angel Perez Aguirre explicou os requisitos para atender os projetos e para que sua aprovação seja feita pelo governo. “O número de projetos é limitado e toda empresa deve fazer o relatório de impacto ambiental”, destacou.
Experiência do Peru
Durante o debate o engenheiro ambiental Marco Ramirez apresentou a APINAM (Associação Peruana de Engenharia Ambiental), cuja criação ocorreu no dia 12 de setembro de 2016 e foi motivada pelo vazamento de óleo na Amazônia Peruana que afetou o rio índios da região.
O intuito da associação é oferecer assistência jurídica e fazer um trabalho de conscientização com a população. A entidade conta com 75 integrantes de 19 universidades do país. Seus objetivos são: buscar o desenvolvimento ambiental e social, fortalecer a política nacional do meio ambiente, conservação dos recursos naturais, controle de resíduos sólidos, contaminação e inclusão da sociedade na questão ambiental.
“Buscamos o crescimento econômico e desejamos melhorar a qualidade de vida da população do nosso país. É necessário trabalhar em equipe”, ressaltou Marco Ramirez.
A APINAM promove atividades de proteção social e busca fundos para a melhoria do saneamento, como projetos de fossas sépticas para comunidades isoladas. A questão social também é trabalhada, nas universidades. Os alunos devem propor melhorias, conscientizar a população sobre as questões do meio ambiente e do saneamento e escolher uma comunidade para fazer o TCC.
A cúpula da universidade é envolvida nesses projetos. Ramirez ainda explicou sobre reciclagem, tanques sépticos e nódulos.
Participação do público
O encontro foi um sucesso e atingiu o seu objetivo. Teve grande participação do público formado por jovens brasileiros e peruanos para debater as questões do saneamento.
“O evento foi excelente, teve participação de muitos jovens brasileiros e peruanos. As experiências deles são curiosas, como por exemplo, a nova organização, os trabalhos que têm sido desenvolvidos com fossas sépticas, latrinas em comunidades isoladas. Foi interessante poder contar as questões do saneamento e os recentes incentivo da privatização no Brasil, as questões políticas, econômicas e a organização da ABES e do JPS. A gente pretende estar sempre em cooperação com esse grupo”, afirmou Thomas Ficarelli.
O coordenador nacional do JPS, Álvaro Diogo Teixeira, destacou a troca de informações e o conhecimento adquirido no encontro de profissionais do Brasil e do Peru. “O evento vêm ao encontro com o planejamento que o JPS-SP trouxe para 2016. O Thomas conseguiu o contato com a Associação Peruana que acabou de ser fundada, veio fazer um trabalho no Brasil e conheceu a ABES e o JPS. É muito importante essa troca de experiência, informações entre os dois países e suas associações. Eles também querem criar um grupo de jovens e esse aprendizado é fundamental”, pontuou.
Marco Ramirez agradeceu o encontro promovido e disse que pretende trabalhar com a ABES e com o JPS. “Estou muito contente com esse encontro entre a ABES, o JPS e a APINAM. Espero que seja o primeiro de muitos encontros e que possamos trabalhar juntos, pois temos muitas coisas boas para fazer”.
O público que participou do evento elogiou o encontro e a possibilidade de conhecer como outros países trabalham no setor de saneamento.
“Foi muito enriquecedor participar desse encontro, pois são coisas novas e não temos muito acesso à essas informações. Podemos ver os problemas que Brasil e Peru enfrentam e a busca pela solução”. Os peruanos conheceram as nossas tecnologias, eles podem levar essas informações para as universidades e implantar o que foi aprendido aqui”, afirmou a associada da ABES e do JPS Patricia Hassato, 32, professora de Ciências e Biologia e auxiliar docente no Laboratório de Saneamento da FATEC-SP.
Para Henrique Reismann, 22, estudante de Engenharia Civil, o destaque do evento foi a integração entre os dois países. “O encontro foi interessante e fez a integração dos projetos brasileiros com os peruanos. Fiquei muito contente em poder saber o que acontece no país deles. Os profissionais do Peru são engajados e batalhadores. É muito bom estar com o JPS e espero participar de outros eventos”, disse o jovem.
