ABES integra em Brasília encontro de consultas do Fórum Mundial da Água

A ABES participou dos eventos desta semana em Brasília/DF do 8º Fórum Mundial da Água. O presidente da ABES-SP, Alceu Guérios Bitencourt, um dos oito membros integrantes da Comissão Temática do Fórum, integrou as reuniões do Processo Temático do evento internacional. A ABES é um dos membros do Grupo de Coordenação do Tema Urbano.

Também está atuando nos trabalhos preparatórios para o Fórum o vice-presidente da ABES, Carlos Alberto Rosito, que faz parte do grupo representando o presidente nacional da entidade, Roberval Tavares de Souza.

Nesta quarta e quinta-feira aconteceu o Segundo Encontro de Consultas aos Atores do Fórum (2nd. Stakeholders Consultation Meeting), do qual também participam Sérgio Gonçalves, diretor nacional da ABES, e Marisa Guimarães, membro do Conselho Diretor da ABES-SP. Marisa participa do Grupo de Coordenação de Tópicos, responsável pela definição dos assuntos relacionados a água, saneamento e saúde pública do tema “People” (pessoas), que constituirão seções do Fórum.

“Este evento dá continuidade ao processo de preparação do 8° Fórum Mundial da Água. Já definimos a estrutura do Fórum, os temas e as questões que vão ser discutidas. Agora, estamos trazendo as instituições que vão detalhar as sessões que serão organizadas em torno dos nove temas. Esperamos trazer também mais pessoas para termos um Fórum Cidadão muito ativo”, afirma Benedito Braga, presidente do Conselho Mundial da Água.
