ABES-AM presente na XI Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia

Nesta quinta, 26 de outubro, às 8h, o presidente da ABES Seção Amazonas (ABES-AM), engenheiro Rainier Pedraça de Azevedo, participará como palestrante da décima primeira Semana Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia – SNCT, realizada no Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Tecnologia – ICET, da Universidade Federal do Amazonas – UFAM, em Itacoatiara/AM. O evento é promovido pelo ICET e apoiada pelo Instituto Federal do Amazonas – IFAM. O tema do encontro, que ocorrerá entre os dias 23 e 27 de outubro, é “A matemática está em tudo”.

Rainier, que é constantemente convidado para participar desse tipo de evento, o vê como “uma janela de oportunidades para divulgar as ações e atividades desenvolvidas pela ABES no Amazonas.

Uma das palestras a serem ministradas pelo engenheiro destaca a “Atuação da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES em prol do saneamento no País”. Ele vê “com muita alegria o fato de poder me dirigir aos jovens acadêmicos como um incentivo para melhoria do saneamento do estado e da região”.
