ABES Bahia: diretores são nomeados para os Conselhos Estaduais de Meio Ambiente e de Recursos Hídricos

Três membros da seção foram nomeadas: Samara Fernanda da Silva, como conselheira titular, Telma Cristina Silva Teixeira, como 1ª suplente, e Virgínia Silva Neves, como 2ª suplente. 

Membros da Diretoria da ABES-BA foram nomeados em março pelo governador do Estado, Jerônimo Rodrigues, para integrar o Conselho Estadual de Meio Ambiente – CEPRAM e o Conselho Estadual de Recursos Hídricos – CONERH.

O CEPRAM é o órgão superior do Sistema Estadual do Meio Ambiente (SISEMA) de natureza consultiva, normativa, deliberativa e recursal. Sua funcionalidade é o planejamento e acompanhamento da política e das diretrizes governamentais voltadas para o meio ambiente, a biodiversidade e a definição de normas e padrões relacionados à preservação e conservação dos recursos naturais. 

José Roberto Pedreira Franco Celestino, diretor da ABES-BA é conselheiro titular. Engenheiro civil e sanitarista, possui 44 anos de experiência em gestão e coordenação de estudos e projetos e gerenciamento de empreendimentos nas áreas de meio ambiente, saneamento, recursos hídricos e infraestrutura.

O CONERH é um órgão superior do Sistema Estadual de Gerenciamento de Recursos Hídricos, com caráter consultivo, normativo, deliberativo, recursal e de representação para atuar na defesa e proteção dos recursos hídricos, tendo por finalidade formular, em caráter suplementar, a Política Estadual de Recursos Hídricos.

Samara Fernanda da Silva

Engenheira Sanitarista e Ambiental, Mestrado em Meio Ambiente, Águas e Saneamento pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2012). Atualmente é professora assistente da Universidade Federal do Oeste da Bahia e Coordenadora do Curso de Graduação em Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (2017-2019). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Sanitária, com ênfase em Gestão da Demanda de Água e da Disponibilidade Hídrica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: alterações hidrológicas, mudanças climáticas, simulação de reservatórios, usos da água.

Telma Cristina Silva Teixeira

Pós-doutoranda em Engenharia Civil e Ambiental na UFCG com bolsa do CNPq. Doutorado em Engenharia Civil (COPPE/UFRJ) na área de Gestão e Planejamento de Recursos Hídricos e Saneamento (2012). Mestre em Economia (UFBA – 1999). Professora Titular DE da Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS/DCIS) (1994-). Coordenadora do Curso de Graduação em Economia (1997-2001 / 2017-2018). Coordenadora da Especialização em Economia Financeira e Análise de Investimentos (UEFS) (2000-2007). Coordenadora do Grupo de Estudos em Ciências Sociais Aplicadas (GECIS/UEFS) (2006-). Líder do RHIOS (Grupo de Estudos em Recursos Hídricos e Sustentabilidade – www.rhios.org). “Stage Doctoral” na “École Nationale du Génie Rural des Eaux et des Forêts” da AgroParisTech (Paris/França) com Bolsa de Doutorado Sanduiche da CAPES (2011-2012). 

Virgínia Silva Neves

Engenheira Sanitarista e Ambiental, Especialista em Gerenciamento dos Recursos Hídricos pela UFBa/GRH/Escola Politécnica e em Planejamento e Gestão da Educação pela UNEB. Mestre em Engenharia Ambiental Urbana pela UFBA/Escola Politécnica. Licenciada em Educação Artística, Habilitação Desenho pela Universidade Católica do Salvador/UCSAL e em Matemática, pela Universidade Salvador/ Unifacs. Doutoranda em Planejamento Territorial e Desenvolvimento Social (UCSAL). Coordena e Leciona nos cursos técnicos e integrados em Infraestrutura Urbana e Saneamento, do Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia da Bahia (IFBA).
