ABES Conecta: EMBASA, CASAN e CESAN debatem online a gestão das empresas de saneamento e o coronavírus

Com transmissão pelo YouTube, o terceiro evento online sobre o tema foi moderado pelo Presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza.

Nesta segunda, 15 de junho, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES promoveu no programa ABES Conecta o terceiro webinar com representantes de companhias de saneamento. 

Desta vez, o debate online sobre “A Gestão das empresas de saneamento e o coronavírus”, sob o comando do Presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, contou com a participação de Rogério Cedraz, Presidente da EMBASA (Empresa Baiana de Águas e Saneamento), Roberta Maas dos Anjos, Diretora-Presidente da CASAN (Companhia Catarinense de Águas e Saneamento); e Carlos Aurélio Linhalis, Presidente da CESAN (Companhia Espírito Santense de Saneamento). O evento foi transmitido pelo YouTube (clique aqui para assistir a íntegra do webinar).

Considerando a água como elemento essencial na prevenção e combate ao coronavírus, os convidados responderam questões sobre o atendimento pelas empresas, em suas respectivas regiões, à população em geral e aos mais vulneráveis e inadimplência. Também opinaram acerca da presença de  coronavírus em esgotos, e analisaram o cenário pós-pandemia em termos de recursos para o saneamento e a busca pela universalização do setor.
