ABES Conecta: Seção Paraíba promove debate inovação e sustentabilidade na gestão de resíduos

Com um público de mais de 150 pessoas online, o tema foi apresentado pelo professor Fernando Jucá, presidente da Facepe, e debatido por representantes das seções Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, além da PB. Assista no YouTube. 

Nesta sexta-feira, 17 de março, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária Ambiental Seção Paraíba (ABES-PB) realizou um webinar no ABES Conecta com o tema “Inovação e Sustentabilidade na Gestão de Resíduos Sólidos”. O assunto foi apresentado pelo professor Fernando Jucá, presidente da Fundação de Amparo à Ciência e Tecnologia do Estado de Pernambuco (Facepe).

O evento, que contou com um público de mais de 150 pessoas online, foi moderado por José Dantas de Lima, presidente da ABES-PB, e teve como debatedores Francisco Humberto de C. Junior, diretor da ABES-CE; Claudia Coutinho Nóbrega, diretora da ABES-PB; e Sergio Pinheiro, diretor da ABES-RN.

A abertura foi feira pelo diretor executivo da ABES, Josivan Cardoso, que em sua fala destacou o ABES Conecta, programa “que leva conhecimento técnico e possui um acervo de qualidade sobre engenharia sanitária e ambiental para toda a sociedade brasileira e internacional”.

O palestrante Fernando Jucá discorreu sobre inovação e sustentabilidade no mundo, citando tópicos como startups em gestão de resíduos sólidos, boas práticas e sustentabilidade, encerramento de lixões e rotas de tecnologias de tratamento. Segundo o especialista, entre as soluções para o tema estão: estabelecer políticas públicas junto aos parceiros, ter conhecimento sobre as propriedades dos resíduos, fazer um diagnóstico do setor por municípios ou consórcios, fazer parcerias com empresas privadas e planejar a gestão com ênfase no ESG.

Ao final da apresentação de Jucá, os debatedores falaram sobre a gestão de resíduos sólidos nos estados do Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte e Paraíba.

Em relação ao Ceará, Francisco Humberto de C. Junior destacou a gestão da informação e inteligência artificial no gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos.

Claudia Coutinho Nóbrega abordou estudos, pesquisas e a disseminação das informações com operadores públicos-privados no sistema de gestão no Estado da Paraíba.

Sobre o Rio Grande do Norte, Sergio Pinheiro mencionou a implantação e aplicação da rota tecnológica sustentável.
