Impactos do êxodo urbano causado pela pandemia do coronavírus no saneamento foi assunto do 2º episódio da Série Especial “Serviços de Saneamento: Um novo Olhar”, promovida pela Câmara Temática da ABES de Prestação de Serviços e Relacionamento com o Cliente, nesta terça-feira, 25 de maio, com apresentação de Juliana Dutra, coordenadora da CT de Prestação de Serviços.

O evento virtual contou com a participação de Monica Porto, diretora de Sistemas Regionais da Sabesp; Tiago Magno de Oliveira, prefeito de Lagoinha (SP); Anderson José Mendonça (Parrão), prefeito de Santo Antônio do Pinhal (SP); Wagner Silveira, coordenador de divulgação do Censo IBGE; e, Gilberto Antônio do Nascimento, conselheiro da ABES Seção Distrito Federal (ABES-DF).

Os convidados analisaram o movimento de parte da população brasileira que deixou as grandes cidades e centros urbanos rumo à municípios menores, considerados mais “seguros”, em razão do agravamento do coronavírus no País. Além disso, os especialistas comentaram sobre a necessidade de infraestrutura, especialmente no setor de saneamento, por partes de munícipios do interior e litoral para atender essa nova dinâmica populacional, mesmo que temporariamente.
