ABES E BID promovem workshop gratuito sobre Cooperação Técnica para Regulação do Setor de Água e Saneamento durante o 28º CBESA

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, por meio de convênio com o Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento – BID, promoverá, em 5 de outubro, das 14h às 19h, o workshop gratuito “Cooperação Técnica para Regulação do Setor de Água e Saneamento – Convênio BID-ABES”. O encontro será promovido durante o 28º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, que acontece  entre os dias 4 a 8 (saiba mais sobre o Congresso em http://abes-dn.org.br/28cbesa/index.php#).

 

Parceria entre o Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento e a ABES, a iniciativa é voltada a profissionais do setor de saneamento e meio ambiente cuja atividade tenha ligação direta ou indireta com a regulação do saneamento. A atividade será preparatória para curso EAD de capacitação profissional do convênio ABES BID, que deverá capacitar profissionais de todo o país.

Como parte do projeto, a ABES está desenvolvendo um diagnóstico setorial e um programa de capacitação na área de regulação em saneamento no Brasil.

Este será o primeiro workshop, quando serão apresentados o projeto e um diagnóstico preliminar retratando o panorama da regulação no país. Entre os palestrantes, o encontro contará com a participação de Paulo Ferreira, Secretário Nacional de Saneamento Ambiental/Ministério das Cidades, e Antonio Pires, Presidente da FUNASA – Fundação Nacional de Saúde.

A participação no workshop é gratuita e aberta a profissionais cuja atividade tenha ligação direta ou indireta com a regulação no saneamento. Não é necessário estar inscrito no 28º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, porém, os participantes do workshop poderão integrar apenas o grupo desta atividade.

Com o tema “Alterações Climáticas e a Gestão do Saneamento Ambiental”, o 28º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (CBESA) reunirá os nomes mais importantes do setor no Brasil e convidados internacionais para debater a crise hídrica no país e no mundo, as alterações climáticas e a gestão do saneamento. Diante das crises financeira e hídrica, o encontro promoverá a construção de uma agenda mínima para o saneamento nos próximos anos, com participação de profissionais, entidades do setor e poder público. Tal agenda deve levar em conta a seguinte pergunta: que propostas podem ser implementadas no curto prazo visando manter os níveis de investimentos e colocar em prática ações de desenvolvimento institucional do setor de saneamento básico?
