Em resposta à pesquisa intitulada Mapa da Água, que de forma alarmista apontou contaminações das águas de abastecimento público em todo o Brasil, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitaria e Ambiental Seção Goiás (ABES-GO), representada por seu diretor, Engº Fábio Julian de Souza, falou em reportagem da TV Record, tranquilizando a população do estado de Goiás e de todo o Brasil ratificando o rigor dos procedimentos aos quais as concessionárias de água de todo país são submetidos sobre a legislação do Ministério da Saúde. Temos águas de excelente qualidade nos sistemas de abastecimento público ao redor do nosso país, afirma a ABES-GO.
