ABES integra reunião da ANA sobre 1º Fórum Latino-Americano da Água

O evento inédito está previsto para acontecer em novembro deste ano, com o intuito de se tornar um espaço de convergência de pautas sobre a água na América Latina.

Nesta quarta-feira, 25 de janeiro, a Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES, juntamente com outras instituições do setor de recursos hídricos do Brasil, esteve presente em uma reunião realizada pela Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico – ANA, em Brasília/DF, para discutir a formatação do 1° Fórum Latino-Americano da Água. 

Além da ABES, que foi representada pelo diretor executivo, Josivan Cardoso, o encontro inédito coordenado pela ANA reuniu a Rede Brasil de Organismos de Bacias Hidrográficas (REBOB), a Associação Brasileira de Recursos Hídricos (ABRHidro) e a Associação Brasileira de Águas Subterrâneas (ABAS).

O 1º Fórum Latino-Americano da Água está previsto para acontecer em novembro deste ano, com o intuito de se tornar um espaço de convergência de pautas sobre a água na América Latina. O novo evento também está sendo formulado para ser uma oportunidade para que os países latino-americanos produzam um posicionamento regional a ser levado ao Fórum Mundial da Água, que terá sua próxima edição em 2024 na ilha de Bali, na Indonésia.
