ABES lança Câmara Temática de Comunicação no Saneamento

O ex-presidente da ABES, Dante Ragazzi Pauli, coordenará a nova CT.

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES lançará, no dia 20 de janeiro, sexta-feira, das 10h às 12h, sua Câmara Temática de Comunicação no Saneamento. A nova CT será coordenada pelo engenheiro Dante Ragazzi Pauli, ex-presidente nacional da entidade.

Na ocasião, será divulgado o estudo “Situação do Saneamento Básico no Brasil – uma análise com base na PNAD 2015”, realizado pela ABES, que analisa os principais indicadores de saneamento no Brasil, por meio de suas cinco Grandes Regiões e Unidades da Federação em um comparativo 20008/2015. O evento contará, ainda, com uma roda de conversa com o jornalista Talis Maurício, repórter da Rádio CBN em São Paulo, com o tema “O papel da imprensa na cobertura do Saneamento e a importância do relacionamento com o setor”. O encontro ocorrerá na sede da ABES Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP), na capital paulista.

A ideia de criar uma CT de comunicação voltada para setor de saneamento começou a ser discutida ainda na gestão de Dante Ragazzi Pauli e foi fortalecida, segundo ele, durante o 28º CBESA da ABES, realizado em outubro de 2015, no Rio de Janeiro. “Ainda estávamos na crise de escassez hídrica que atingiu o Brasil – principalmente o sudeste e a Região Metropolitana de São Paulo – e o que se comentava é que tinham muitas informações desencontradas da imprensa e dos próprios operadores”, lembra Dante. Ao final de uma Palestra Magna, que contava com a participação de Mônica Porto, secretária adjunta de Recursos Hídricos do Estado de São Paulo e membro do Conselho Consultivo da ABES-SP, o então presidente nacional da ABES anunciou oficialmente que a Câmara seria criada. “A ideia foi tomando corpo e a partir daí muitas entidades parceiras têm nos procurado”, conta o ex-presidente.

O objetivo da CT, de acordo com Dante Ragazzi, é discutir com os meios de comunicação, assessorias de imprensa das entidades e com a própria mídia em geral, como dar mais destaque ao saneamento e ao meio ambiente, mais especificamente ao saneamento básico. “Isso é algo que na ABES julgamos que poderia melhorar bastante. Para que a população no geral entenda o que é saneamento, o que é uma água bem distribuída, um esgoto coletado e tratado”, ressalta.

Importância da comunicação

Segundo o engenheiro, o que se percebe hoje, diferentemente daqueles anos em que a crise hídrica esteve no auge (2014 e 2015), é que só se fala nos níveis do reservatório. “Grandes questões que estavam sendo discutidas na época como reúso de água, por exemplo, saíram da pauta. E a nossa ideia é ver como podemos fazer para alavancar a comunicação no setor”, salienta. “Aprendi que a comunicação é um item altamente estratégico em qualquer gestão, seja de uma empresa, seja de uma entidade. A comunicação é um dos carros chefes para o sucesso de uma gestão. A ABES, agora com o apoio do presidente Roberval Tavares de Souza, vai atacar nessa frente”, conclui Dante Ragazzi Pauli.
