A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária – ABES lançou oficialmente, na noite de segunda-feira, 9 de março, em Curitiba, o 31º Congresso Brasileiro de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – CBESA, que será realizado de 16 a 19 de maio de 2021, na capital paranaense.
O lançamento foi feito pelo Presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, no Instituto de Engenharia do Paraná (IEP), com a participação do presidente do Instituto de Água e Terra do Paraná (IAT), José Luiz Scroccaro, presidente em exercício do IEP e presidente do Sindicato da Indústria da Construção Pesada do Paraná, José Alberto Pereira Ribeiro, de representantes da Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente, da Universidade Federal do Paraná, da Sanepar, de engenheiros, técnicos e outros profissionais da área de saneamento.
O 31º CBESA será realizado na ExpoUnimed e deve receber pesquisadores, estudantes, profissionais das empresas públicas e privadas de saneamento, fornecedores de equipamentos de todo o Brasil. “O objetivo do Congresso é difundir as melhores tecnologias das empresas, o que acontece de melhor em saneamento no país para que sirvam de referência para outras empresas e assim levar mais saneamento e qualidade de vida à população. O CBESA tem a função de debater esses serviços e tecnologias”, ressaltou Roberval.
O gerente da Secretaria Executiva da Sanepar, Mario Zigovski, que participa da Câmara Temática de Indicadores de Desempenho para o Saneamento Ambiental da ABES, destacou que, ao dar visibilidade às melhores práticas do setor, o Congresso contribui para a melhoria do desempenho das empresas de saneamento e, consequentemente, dos serviços prestados à população.
