ABES-MG promoverá em Belo Horizonte seminário internacional sobre uso de lodo de esgoto em solos

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Minas Gerais (ABES-MG) e a Câmara Temática de Tratamento de Esgotos da ABES realizarão, em parceria com o Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia em Estações Sustentáveis de Tratamento de Esgoto (INCT ETEs Sustentáveis), nos dias 9 e 10 de maio, em Belo Horizonte, o “Seminário Internacional Uso de Lodo de Esgoto em Solos: Contribuições para a Regulamentação no Brasil”. O evento ocorrerá na Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) – Campus Pampulha.

O seminário tem como objetivos apresentar a experiência nacional e internacional no uso de lodo de esgoto em solos e discutir uma proposta de revisão da resolução Conama 375/06 para que tal prática possa ser viável e segura.

Na ocasião, especialistas e entidades de pesquisa e regulação se reunirão para debater as experiências na utilização do lodo para fertilização e recuperação de solos, além de abordagens relativas aos aspectos técnicos e tecnológicos necessários; às preocupações e riscos, e ao arcabouço legal e regulatório exigente/desejado.

O evento é voltado para profissionais do setor, tanto do serviço público quanto as empresas privadas, pesquisadores, estudantes, representantes da sociedade civil, empresas e governo.
