O coordenador nacional do Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento (JPS), o tecnólogo Álvaro Diogo Teixeira, representou a ABES, no dia 5 de dezembro, no workshop técnico “Conservação de Água e Uso de Fontes Alternativas de Água em Edificações”, um evento de preparação da Indústria da Construção para o 8º Fórum Mundial da Água, que será realizado em Brasília/DF, de 18 a 23 de março de 2018. A iniciativa do Sindicato da Construção – SindusCon teve correalização da Câmara Brasileira da Indústria da Construção – CBIC , do  Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial – Senai e do Comitê Brasileiro da Construção Civil – CB-02, com apoio institucional da ABES.

“Pudemos discutir sobre a organização do Fórum Mundial da Água. E o workshop focou ainda nos trabalhos das novas Comissões da ABNT – uma sobre conservação de água e outra sobre usos não-potáveis em edificações (ambas coordenadas por Lilan Sarrouf, do Sinduscon e secretariadas por Virgínia Sodré)”, explica Álvaro.

O tecnólogo, gerente técnico e comercial da Infinitytech, apresentou ainda um case sobre reúso de águas cinzas em edifício residencial e participou das discussões das palestras do workshop sobre temas como água de chuva (cuja revisão da norma está sob coordenação de Plínio Tomaz, superintendente adjunto do SAAE de Guarulhos, tendo Álvaro como secretário) e qualidade de água para reúso.

O encontro, segundo Álvaro, reuniu número expressivo de jovens, muitos deles integrantes do JPS. “É bacana ver uma discussão de alto nível e muita gente nova interessada, participando e contribuindo pra essa discussão tão relevante e atual para o nosso setor.
