ABES-RJ: monitoramento de SARS-COV-2 nos esgotos sanitários é tema de webinar

Evento online ‘Monitora Corona’, nesta segunda-feira, trouxe grandes especialistas, com patrocínio da CEDAE.

A ABES Seção Rio de Janeiro, com patrocínio da CEDAE, reuniu grandes especialistas brasileiros para mais um webinar “Monitora Corona”, nesta segunda-feira, 31 de janeiro. O encontro online trouxe detalhes do monitoramento espaço-temporal da concentração de SARS-COV-2 nos esgotos sanitários da Região Metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro (clique aqui para assistir).

Com moderação de Miguel Alvarenga Fernández y Fernández, professor do Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca (CEFET-RJ) e presidente da ABES-RJ, o webinar contou com apresentações de Mayra Bielschowsky, gerente de Projetos Técnicos da Cedae; Isaac Volschan Jr., professor da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ); Luana Araujo, médica, consultora analytics do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein e consultora em Saúde Pública global para instituições internacionais; e Marcelo Guimarães Araújo pesquisador do Departamento de Saneamento e Saúde Ambiental da Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública da Fiocruz.

 “A ABES é uma associação sem fins lucrativos, de representação profissional. A gente tenta dedicar aqui um pouco do nosso tempo levando esse tipo de projeto e de informação à sociedade e aos profissionais do setor. Tenho muito orgulho de estar como presidente da Seção do Rio de Janeiro e, dentro do que for possível, a gente vai tentando sempre conduzir, continuar com esse projeto e ampliar para outros”, ressaltou Miguel.
