ABES-RS: VIII Seminário sobre Tecnologias Limpas debate os novos desafios da gestão ambiental

A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Sul (ABES-RS) promoveu, nos dias 2 e 3 de dezembro, em Porto Alegre/RS, o VIII Seminário sobre Tecnologias Limpas.  Tendo como tema central “Novos Desafios da Gestão Ambiental”, o evento reuniu especialistas do Brasil para discutir caminhos para o desenvolvimento e implantação de tecnologias limpas. O encontro foi realizado no Salão de Atos II da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS.

No primeiro dia, as discussões centraram-se na redução de resíduos e implantação da logística reversa. 

Focando na gestão ambiental, o segundo dia do encontro foi aberto com palestra do Diretor de Engenharia e Qualidade Ambiental da CETESB, Carlos Roberto dos Santos. Em sua apresentação, ele abordou o tema Ferramentas de Gestão Ambiental e a interface na produção mais limpa.

A principal ferramenta de gestão, na visão do especialista, é a capacidade de raciocinar, identificando todos os elementos do problema a enfrentar e traçando políticas públicas que orientem para a produção mais limpa.

O seminário acontece a cada dois anos, em parceria com a UFRGS e tem como objetivo apresentar resultados ambientais e econômicos da gestão ambiental e da implantação de tecnologias limpas e discutir caminhos para garantir a viabilidade da reinserção de produtos e matérias primas no mercado produtivo. É voltado a técnicos e gestores ambientais de indústrias e serviços de saneamento, professores e estudantes de pós-graduação e graduação, fornecedores de produtos e serviços.
