A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – Seção São Paulo (ABES-SP), por meio da Câmara Técnica de Saneamento e Saúde em Comunidades Isoladas, juntamente com a Universidade Estadual de Campinas – UNICAMP, por meio do Grupo de Pesquisa de Tratamento de Efluentes e Recuperação de Recursos Hídricos da Faculdade de Engenharia Civil – FEC, coordenaram a elaboração do livro “Tratamento de Esgotos Domésticos em Comunidades Isoladas: referencial para escolha de soluções”. A publicação é gratuita e está disponível para download AQUI.
Os principais objetivos do livro, além de apresentar alternativas de tratamento de esgoto doméstico em comunidades isoladas, é possibilitar aos moradores dessas localidades, gestores públicos e consultores técnicos a fazerem as melhores escolhas de tecnologias para cada caso; e divulgar os projetos bem-sucedidos e inovadores, elaborados por universidades, institutos de pesquisa, institutos de permacultura e agroecologia, prefeituras municipais e ONGs, no âmbito unifamiliar ou semicoletivo.
Nessa primeira edição são apresentadas 15 (quinze) tecnologias de tratamento de esgotos domésticos (numeradas no Fluxograma de Escolha – veja abaixo), por meio de imagens, aspectos construtivos, eficiência e casos bem-sucedidos. De forma complementar mais três soluções de tratamento com disposição no solo.
