Pela primeira vez na história dos Congressos da ABES, foi realizada uma discussão para debater o papel da comunicação no setor de Saneamento.
O painel promovido pela Câmara Temática de Comunicação no Saneamento, coordenada por Dante Ragazzi Pauli, foi promovido no dia 3 de outubro, primeiro dia de discussões do congresso, e contou com a participação dos jornalistas Talis Maurício, da Rádio CBN, Fabrício Lobel, da Folha de S.Paulo, Fábio Leite, de O Estado de S.Paulo, João Vito Cinquepalmi, da TV Globo e Dal Marcondes, do Envolverde, além de Eduardo Pacheco, representando o Portal Saneamento Básico.
Entre os pontos discutidos estão a necessidade de contar boas histórias, histórias reais de pessoas, garantir a transparência e a questão de a imprensa ainda não ter conseguido passar para a sociedade a importância do saneamento ambiental.
Dante Ragazzi pontuou que o setor se comunica mal. “Precisamos compartilhar mais fatos, sair da linguagem técnica e de engenharia e falar a linguagem que jornalista e sociedade entendam.”
O painel lançou também o Ranking da Universalização do Saneamento”, que teve grande repercussão de mídia em todo o Brasil. Acesse o ranking aqui.
