Coordenador nacional do JPS integra Comissão de Estudo da ABNT para revisão da norma sobre aproveitamento de água de chuva

O coordenador nacional do programa Jovens Profissionais – JPS da ABES e membro da Diretoria da ABES-SP, Álvaro Diogo Teixeira, foi indicado para secretariar o engenheiro e professor Plinio Tomaz, coordenador da Comissão de Estudo (ABNT/CEE- 077), instalada com o objetivo de revisar a ABNT NBR 15527, que normatiza o aproveitamento de água de chuva em áreas urbanas para fins não potáveis. A norma completou 10 anos em setembro deste ano. A primeira reunião da Comissão ocorreu na última quarta, 18 de outubro.

A ABNT é o único Foro Nacional de Normalização e criou a Comissão para discutir e estabelecer, por consenso, regras, diretrizes ou características para o tema.

Plínio Tomaz, que também é autor de diversos livros sobre o tema água, teceu elogios ao tecnólogo Álvaro Diogo e destacou não só a atuação dele na Infinitytech Engenharia e Meio Ambiente, mas também sua dissertação de mestrado sobre o descarte de escoamento inicial para aproveitamento de água de chuva. “O Álvaro é uma pessoa muito inteligente, inclusive o ajudei em sua dissertação de mestrado, que alcançou uma excelente nota”, lembrou.
