Vasti e Cristina: pioneirismo da CT na criação de regras e procedimentos para o Controle de Qualidade de Produtos Químicos utilizados para tratamento de água no Brasil

A Câmara Temática de Qualidade de Produtos Químicos CTQPQ, coordenada desde sua criação por Maria Cristina Coimbra Marodin e Vasti Ribeiro Facincani, tem marcado a história nacional com a criação de regras e procedimentos para o Controle de Qualidade de Produtos Químicos utilizados para tratamento de água no Brasil, segundo as exigências da Portaria de Potabilidade do Ministério da Saúde.

Buscando sempre aprimorar o seu trabalho, a CTQPQ, como das vezes anteriores, realizou no 28º Congresso de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental da ABES uma produtiva mesa redonda intitulada “Produto químico controlado – água mais segura: o que mais pode ser feito?”.

Essa mesa teve por objetivo evoluir no processo de avaliação de conformidades da qualidade dos produtos químicos utilizados no tratamento de água, tendo por base os requisitos da NBR 15.784, com especial foco na segurança da água para consumo humano.

A programação desse evento foi composta por três painéis e abrilhantada pela marcante presença de representantes do Ministério da Saúde e Inmetro. Os conteúdos das apresentações dos integrantes desta mesa possibilitaram vislumbrar  caminhos para novos avanços no Controle de Qualidade de Produtos Químicos implementado no Brasil.

“Considerando que os critérios, procedimentos e documentos para o Controle de Qualidade já estão postos no país, entendemos que um sistema de certificação nacional pode ser um importante feito para aprimoramento deste processo no Brasil”, comenta Vasti.

Segundo Cristina Coimbra, “esse caminho para aprimoramento, pode contribuir fortemente para a segurança da água consumida pela população brasileira, garantindo a qualidade dos produtos químicos de forma mais igualitária e uniforme em todo o território nacional”.
