A Câmara Temática da ABES de Resíduos Sólidos elegeu nesta quarta-feira, 17 de março, sua nova coordenadora: Roseane M. Garcia Lopes de Souza, diretora da ABES São Paulo e coordenadora das Câmaras Técnicas de Resíduos Sólidos e de Saúde Púbica da seção.
A nomeação da nova equipe de de coordenação da Câmara ocorreu online durante em reunião durante o 14º Seminário Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos | 1º Painel Internacional de Resíduos Sólidos.
Uma das propostas da nova gestão é nacionalizar a Campanha DIADESOL – realizada anualmente pela ABES-SP. A ideia é que todas as seções estaduais da ABES realizem ações campanhas vinculadas ao DIADESOL como sensibilizar a sociedade acerca da importância de manter a limpeza de nossas casas, cidades, lugares de recreação e espaços públicos, e contribuir para a sensibilização da população com relação ao serviço de limpeza pública.

ATUAÇÃO
A CTRS tem atuado ininterruptamente realizando seus simpósios nacionais a cada dois anos (intercalados com o Congresso da ABES nos anos pares). Os últimos se realizaram em Brasília, Fortaleza, Cuiabá e o deste ano seria em Belo Horizonte. Tem ainda colaborado com sugestões de painéis e mesas redondas tanto para os congressos da ABES, do SIBESA e do SILUBESA.
A CTRS realiza webinar, publicações, emite opinião a partir das demandas do setor, a fim de se posicionar firmemente no cumprimento da Política Nacional de Saneamento e de Resíduos Sólidos.

O Dia Interamericano de Limpeza e Cidadania é também conhecido como DIADESOL das Américas, cuja expressão é de origem espanhola “Dia de los Desechos Sólidos” e foi idealizado com objetivo de desenvolver atividades que despertem a consciência das populações da América Latina sobre as questões relativas aos resíduos sólidos. A proposta que todas as ABES Estaduais realizem ações campanhas vinculadas ao DIADESOL como sensibilizar a sociedade acerca da importância de manter a limpeza de nossas casas, cidades, lugares de recreação e espaços públicos, e contribuir para a sensibilização da população com relação ao serviço de limpeza pública.
