Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental: ABES levará debate para o Rio Branco, no Acre, em 24 de novembro

Depois de passar por quase todos os estados brasileiros, o Ciclo de Debates “Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental” chegará em Rio Branco, no Acre, dia 24 de novembro. A Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES Diretoria Nacional promoverá o encontro, que terá participação do presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, ministrando uma palestra acerca dos 10 anos da Lei de Saneamento e o saneamento na Região Norte e no Acre. O evento contará, ainda, com um debate sobre o tema “saneamento público ou privado”.

O encontro ocorrerá no Teatro Universitário da Universidade Federal do Acre – UFAC- Campus Universitário – BR 364, Km 04 – Distrito Industrial – 69.920-900 – Rio Branco

Roberval Tavares de Souza apresentará o estudo da ABES “Situação do Saneamento Básico no Brasil – uma análise com base na PNAD 2015” sobre os serviços de abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário, coleta de lixo e filtro de água no Brasil, em um comparativo 2014/2015. Todas as informações têm como base a Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (PNAD), divulgada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), anualmente. O relatório completo com os dados por Grandes Regiões e Unidades da Federação está disponível aqui. O evento terá participação de Vera Braz, , diretora da ABES para a Região Norte, que acompanhará o presidente nacional da ABES em compromissos no estado.

Além da palestra, o encontro será uma oportunidade para os participantes de ampliar sua rede de contatos. A participação é gratuita. Os debates por todo o Brasil resultaram na Carta dos Sanitaristas Brasileiros (leia aqui), documento entregue pela ABES a autoridades durante o Congresso ABES Fenasan 2017.
