Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental: ABES promove debate em Porto Alegre/RS, no dia 3 de abril, com presença do presidente nacional

Depois de Manaus/AM, Goiânia/GO e Curitiba/PR, o Ciclo de Debates “Desafios do Saneamento Ambiental no Brasil” chega a Porto Alegre/RS. No dia 3 de abril, a Diretoria Nacional da Associação Brasileira de Engenheira Sanitária e Ambiental – ABES e a ABES Seção Rio Grande do Sul promoverão o encontro (reunião-almoço, com participação por adesão), com realização da palestra “Os desafios do saneamento ambiental no Brasil”, que será ministrada pelo presidente nacional da ABES, Roberval Tavares de Souza, abordando temas como os 10 anos da Lei de Saneamento, o saneamento na Região Sul e no Rio Grande do Sul e o debate sobre saneamento público ou privado.

Na ocasião, será apresentado o estudo da ABES “Situação do Saneamento Básico no Brasil – uma análise com base na PNAD 2015” sobre os serviços de abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário, coleta de lixo e filtro de água no Brasil, em um comparativo 2014/2015. Todas as informações têm como base a Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílios (PNAD), divulgada pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE), anualmente.

De acordo com o levantamento, o Estado do Rio Grande do Sul atingiu 64,2% de coleta de esgoto, mas ainda possui quase quatro milhões de pessoas sem acesso ao serviço.
