A engenheira coordena as CTs de Resíduos Sólidos e de Saúde Ambiental da entidade e é secretaria executiva da CE 177.004.001 – Gestão de Recursos Hídricos para abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário e drenagem do CB- 177 da ABNT. O diretor executivo da ABES, Josivan Cardoso, também participou do encontro em celebração ao Dia Mundial da Água.

Na última quinta-feira, 16 de março, a diretora da ABES Seção São Paulo e secretaria executiva da CE 177.004.001 – Gestão de Recursos Hídricos para abastecimento de água, esgotamento sanitário e drenagem do CB- 177 da ABNT, integrou um evento promovido pela ANA – Agência Nacional de Águas e Saneamento Básico, em sua sede em Brasília, para celebrar o Dia Mundial da Água 2023. Na ocasião, Roseane participou do lançamento oficial da ABNT NBR 17080 – Plano de segurança da água — Princípios e diretrizes. 

A apresentação foi feita pelo presidente da ABNT, Mário William Esper. O lancamento contou ainda com a participação do coordenador do CB 177 – Comitê de Saneamento Básico da ABNT, Fábio Matos.

Na oportunidade, Mário William Esper e  a diretora-presidente da ANA, Veronica Rios, assinaram um protocolo de intenções para entendimentos sobre atualização de normas voltadas ao saneamento, resíduos e tratamento de água.

O diretor executivo da ABES, Josivan Cardoso, também marcou presença no evento, que apresentou um panorama das principais iniciativas voltadas ao cuidado com as águas e o saneamento básico no Brasil. E abordou as perspectivas para a gestão de recursos hídricos, em consonância com o tema proposto pela Organização das Nações Unidas – ONU para o Dia Mundial da Água 2023: “Seja a mudança que você quer ver no mundo”.

Em sua fala, Roseane destacou a importância da Norma no âmbito nacional e a importância de fazer o lançamento da norma dentro da programação da ANA em celebração ao Dia Mundial da Água. “Fechamos com chave de ouro”, comemora. “Esta é a primeira norma nacional que fala sobre Plano de Segurança da água, que trata de avaliação de risco e gestão de risco em água para consumo humano distribuída por sistema de abastecimento de água seja público seja privado. É uma ferramenta fundamental para que tenhamos água segura distribuída para os consumidores. Este é o grande objeto da norma”, enfatiza a diretora da ABES-SP. “Esperamos que a norma seja de fato aplicada pelo setor saneamento. Todos têm direito a consumir para beber, uma água segura”.

A ABNT NBR 17080:2023 apresenta os requisitos para elaboração, implementação e avaliação de planos de segurança da água com a finalidade de assegurar o fornecimento de água segura e potável, por meio de um enfoque de avaliação e gestão de risco desde o manancial ou fonte até o ponto de consumo, independentemente do seu porte e das tecnologias de tratamento utilizadas.
