Especialistas do Brasil e dos Estados Unidos discutem na BWW avanços tecnológicos na operação e controle dos sistemas de abastecimento de água

Sessão com o tema “Gestão Eficiente” abordou a conjuntura atual, trouxe conhecimentos e práticas que possibilitem avanços para obtenção de melhores resultados a partir do uso de novas tecnologias.  A programação inteira ficará disponível por 90 dias na plataforma digital da BWW.

Os avanços tecnológicos na operação e controle dos sistemas de abastecimento de água foram discutidos na primeira sessão do segundo dia da Brazil Water Week (BWW), nesta terça-feira, 24 de maio. A discussão faz parte da temática “Gestão Eficiente” e contou com a participação de especialistas do Brasil e dos Estados Unidos. Realizada pela Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (ABES), a Semana da Água do Brasil, o mais importante evento internacional sobre água do país, começou nesta segunda-feira e irá até sexta (27), transmitida em plataforma digital exclusiva e interativa. Na ocasião, os palestrantes debateram a conjuntura atual, trazendo a experiência de profissionais e empresas que detém tecnologias e expertises no setor do saneamento, para compartilhar conhecimentos e práticas que possibilitem avanços e consolidem diretrizes para obtenção de melhores resultados a partir do uso de novas tecnologias.

“Atualmente, os avanços tecnológicos na gestão de sistemas de abastecimento de água no mundo e no Brasil acontece de modo anteriormente inimaginável, o nível de automação, monitoramento e gestão das informações permitem que os operadores reduzam o atendimento das intermitências e, consequentemente, reduzam as perdas no sistema. A cada dia surgem novas possibilidades tanto nas formas de monitoramento como no fluxo de dados e, mais recentemente, na utilização da inteligência artificial. A inserção do saneamento no campo das smart cities é algo já visto como natural, mas ainda há caminhos importantes para percorrer.  A aplicabilidade dessas tecnologias ainda é tímida e temos muito o que avançar para a excelência operacional”, afirmou a mediadora, Milene Aguiar, membro da International Water Association.

O debate contou com participação de Cristiano Gonçalves Nascimento Gouveia, da Companhia de Saneamento Ambiental do Distrito Federal (Caesb); Luiz Pladevall, presidente da ABES-SP e sócio-diretor da AGM Engenharia de Projetos; Flávio Eduardo Soares e Silva, engenheiro eletricista do Departamento de Inovação Tecnológica da Corsan; e Elio Arniella, diretor técnico da Smart Water Analytics LLC, na Geórgia, Estados Unidos.

Cristiano Gouveia falou sobre Big Data, inteligência artificial e aprendizado de máquina no saneamento, compartilhando “ideias de como a Caesb tem tratado esse assunto, o que pode agregar de valor em nosso processo dentro do saneamento e, nesse caso, com o foco direcionado  para a parte de perdas. E como a gente tem tornado essas ferramentas mais acessíveis  e utilizado isso para subsidiar nosso processo decisório no dia a dia”.

Em seguida, Pladevall, que ajudou na coordenação do evento, apresentou os avanços tecnológicos no Brasil na operação e controle dos sistemas de abastecimento de água, contando “como estamos no Brasil e o que podemos fazer para melhorar, utilizando ferramentas de gestão”.  

Flávio Eduardo Soares e Silva trouxe “uma outra parte da transformação digital e inovação tecnológica”, falando um pouco sobre gêmeo tecnológico, “da parte de inovação tecnológica na Corsan, companhia que atua no Rio Grande do Sul e atende 317 municípios,  e pegar a parte industrial do sistema de distribuição de água, o tratamento 4.0, a digitalização dos sistemas de tratamento de água”.

Elio Arniella falou sobre como viabilizar a jornada digital das empresas de água. O principal tópico de sua apresentação foi quais são os próximos passos para alcançar os objetivos em  água e saneamento, “nós precisamos criar um modelo de negócios diferente, diante da forma com que a tecnologia está evoluindo, para que possamos integrar essas tecnologias e as informações e conseguirmos dar as informações necessárias para os operadores”.

A Brazil Water Week traz discussões relevantes sobre conhecimentos e experiências sobre água e saneamento, focadas em alcançar o Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável 6, em mais de quarenta horas de conteúdo online, com 110 especialistas do Brasil e de outros 19 países.  A BWW é patrocinada pela Sabesp, ANA, Copasa, Embasa, Funasa, Aegea, Sanasa e Sanepar.

Nas semanas anteriores, contou com seis sessões especiais gratuitas, disponíveis no canal da ABES do YouTube (assista aqui), junto com as sessões do primeiro dia do evento, segunda-feira (23) (clique aqui para assistir). A programação de terça-feira até sexta (27) é transmitida na plataforma digital exclusiva e poderá ser acessada por 90 dias pelas inscritos.

Carlos Berenhauser, diretor da ABES-SP, coordenador da Câmara Técnica de Gestão de Perdas e Eficiência Energética da Seção São Paulo e coordenador adjunto do Tema 4 desta edição – Gestão Eficiente, foi o convidado da primiero bloco do talk show do intervalo da BWW, conduzido pela jornalista Daniela Lobo. Além de opinar sobre o debate da primerira sessão do dia, destacou os principais desafios do avanços tecnológicos, que têm ajudado a equalizar realidades distintas que diferentes países enfrentam em saneamento, muitas vezes com disparidades dentro de suas próprias regiões. Também falou sobre as atividades da CT Perdas.
