JPS: reunião nacional discute participação no Congresso ABES/Fenasan 2017 e criação do programa em Santa Catarina

A reunião mensal do Programa Jovens Profissionais do Saneamento em outubro resultou em muitas novidades. Realizada no dia 6 via videoconferência, o encontro reuniu o coordenador nacional do JPS, Álvaro Diogo Teixeira, seis seções e oito coordenadores estaduais: Rute Bezerra (JPS-AL), André Belfort (JPS-MA), André Horta (JPS-MG), Eduardo Bustamonte (JPS-MG), Renatah Correia (JPS-RJ), Fernanda Balestro (JPS-RS), Walter Souza (JPS-RS) e Thomas Ficarelli (JPS-SP). Também contou com a participação de Rafael Favretto, de Santa Catarina, que busca implantar o JPS naquele estado.

Entre as propostas do encontro, estão:

– iniciar registro da história do JPS que já possui 5 anos de existência;

– criar grupos de trabalho para revisar a missão e visão do programa e elaborar regimento interno;

– criar grupo de discussão sobre privatização do saneamento;

– preparar ações para o Congresso ABES/Fenasan 2017 – o maior encontro de Saneamento Ambiental das Américas, que ocorrerá em São Paulo, de 2 a 6 de outubro.

“Foi um bom ponto de partida para essa nova gestão. Os coordenadores puderam se conhecer e, mesmo que apenas por videoconferência, esta aproximação é importante. Nós temos muito trabalho para fazer nos próximos dois anos visando a amadurecer o programa nas seções existentes e ampliar para os estados que ainda não o possuem”, ressalta Álvaro.
