Sara foi presidente da ABES-MT e era coordenadora da Câmara Técnica de Resíduos Sólidos da Seção. Integrou também a coordenação nacional da Câmara Temática de Resíduos Sólidos da ABES. Foi uma incansável e apaixonada lutadora das questões socioambientais do saneamento, sobretudo nos temas de resíduos sólidos.
A Família ABES se solidariza com os familiares e amigos de Sara e agradece por toda a dedicação e engajamento, ajudando a construir a trajetória da ABES e contribuindo para o desenvolvimento do saneamento ambiental.
Siga em paz, amiga Sara. E que sua luta seja um legado para todos que atuam pelo Saneamento.
