ONU promove concurso de fotos sobre sustentabilidade

Estudantes do mundo todo podem participar. Os trabalhos têm que ter relação com os 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da organização. Inscrições vão até 04 de setembro.

A Organização das Nações Unidas – ONU promove um concurso internacional de fotografia para estudantes que tem como tema os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), conjunto de 17 metas a serem atingidas pelos países membros até 2030. A chamada Agenda 2030 foi aprovada em reunião de cúpula da organização no ano passado.

Segundo informações da ONU, os interessados podem se inscrever até 04 de setembro. O concurso é uma iniciativa do Centro de Informações das Nações Unidas em Tóquio e da Universidade de Sophia, no Japão, com apoio da agênciaGetty Images. Os vencedores vão ganhar equipamentos fotográficos.

O tema do concurso é “Minha visão sobre os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável”. Podem participar estudantes do ensino médio até a pós-graduação do mundo todo.

Os ODS são: acabar com a pobreza no mundo; acabar com a fome, atingir a segurança alimentar, melhorar a nutrição e promover a agricultura sustentável; assegurar uma vida saudável e promover o bem-estar para todos; assegurar a educação inclusiva, equitativa e de qualidade para todos; alcançar a igualdade de gênero e fortalecer as mulheres; assegurar a disponibilidade e gestão sustentável da água e do saneamento para todos; assegurar o acesso confiável, sustentável, moderno e a preço acessível à energia para todos; e promover o crescimento econômico sustentado, sustentável e inclusivo, o pleno emprego, produtivo e decente para todos.

Fazem parte também das metas: a construção de infraestrutura, promoção da industrialização inclusiva e sustentável e o fomento à inovação; reduzir a desigualdade dentro dos países e entre eles; tornar as cidades inclusivas, seguras e sustentáveis; assegurar padrões de produção e consumo sustentáveis; tomar medidas urgentes para combater as mudanças climáticas e seus impactos; conservar os mares e oceanos e promover o uso sustentável dos recursos marinhos; proteger, recuperar e garantir o uso sustentável dos ecossistemas terrestres; promover sociedades pacíficas e inclusivas, proporcionar o acesso à justiça e constituir instituições eficazes; e fortalecer os meios de implementação do desenvolvimento sustentável e revitalizar a parceria global nesse sentido.
