Presidente da ABES-RN recebe homenagem do Prêmio ANA 2017

O presidente da Associação Brasileira de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental Seção Rio Grande do Norte (ABES-RN), Josivan Cardoso, que é também diretor-presidente do Instituto de Gestão das Águas do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte – IGARN, foi homenageado nesta quarta, 6 de dezembro, em Brasília/DF, durante a entrega do Prêmio ANA 2017, pela relevância dos serviços prestados em prol da gestão dos recursos hídricos no Brasil. O evento ocorreu no Auditório da Caixa Cultural de Brasília.

A premiação é um dos maiores prêmios oferecidos pela Agência Nacional de Águas (ANA) como reconhecimento aos destaques nacionais, pelas boas ações no fortalecimento e inovações no campo da gestão de recursos hídricos, contribuindo para a gestão e o uso sustentável no Brasil, promovendo o combate à poluição e ao desperdício. Além disso, o Prêmio ANA reconhece trabalhos que apontem caminhos para assegurar água de boa qualidade e em quantidade suficiente para os brasileiros.

Para Josivan Cardoso, o prêmio é fruto de muito trabalho de uma equipe especial de colaboradores e lutadores nordestinos, que mesmo após seis anos de seca ainda persiste no dia a dia em manter a água como sinônimo de vida e dignidade humana. Aos colaboradores do IGARN o presidente rende todo o orgulho de poder dizer que o órgão vem sendo destaque no Rio Grande do Norte e que é reconhecido hoje nacionalmente.
