Presidente nacional da ABES e associado da ABES-SP são homenageados pelo Prêmio AESabesp 2015

O presidente nacional da ABES, Dante Ragazzi Pauli, e o associado da ABES-SP, Wagner Luiz Bertoletto, foram homenageados pela Associação de Engenheiros da Sabesp (AESabesp) por sua atuação na área de saneamento ambiental. A cerimônia de premiação foi realizada na sexta-feira, 04 de dezembro, no Auditório do CRQ – Conselho Regional de Química, em São Paulo, e contou com a presença, entre outros, do presidente da Sabesp, Jerson Kelman, do presidente da ABES-SP, Alceu Guérios Bittencourt, do vice-presidente da ABES-SP, Marcio Gonçalves de Oliveira, do presidente da APECS e diretor da ABES-SP, Luiz Roberto Gravina Pladevall, de Roberval Tavares de Souza, superintendente da unidade de negócios Sul (MS) da Sabesp, André de Fazio, diretor do CREA-SP, Pérsio Faulim de Menezes, da Associação Sabesp, e Lauro Pereira Dias, do CRQ.

O presidente da AESabesp, Reynaldo Young, abriu a cerimônia parabenizando os homenageados e seus familiares. “Para nós é um momento muito importante, esta homenagem é muito mais que um registro, é o reconhecimento que todos os associados fazem por meio de uma eleição e que o Conselho da associação referenda, a escolha de dois profissionais do nosso quadro de associados. Um reconhecimento profissional dos colegas, os engenheiros Dante e Wagner. Em nome da diretoria da AESabesp, quero parabenizar os familiares dos homenageados. Tenho certeza que sem o apoio da família durante todos esses anos, eles não teriam como se dedicar à nossa empresa, a Sabesp, com tanto afinco.”

O presidente da Sabesp, Jerson Kelman, também saudou os homenageados: “Gostaria de parabenizá-los e seus familiares. Do Wagner tenho recebido sempre excelentes referências. O Dante é o superintendente com quem eu tenho contato direto. Foi uma escolha excepcional da Associação”, declarou.

Kelman, que assumiu a presidência da Sabesp em janeiro deste ano, elogiou a qualificação técnica dos profissionais da Companhia no enfrentamento da crise hídrica. “Tenho, como engenheiro, muita admiração pelo corpo técnico da Sabesp. Não é a primeira empresa com muitos engenheiros que eu dirijo. Vejo uma qualificação técnica excepcional, um corpo de engenheiros de fato altamente qualificados. Já sabia dessa qualidade, mas ao conviver com os profissionais, isso me impactou positivamente. Entrei na Sabesp no início do ano, em plena crise hídrica, que ainda não acabou, e é nas crises que você percebe a qualidade das pessoas ou das instituições. O que ficará nos anais da engenharia brasileira é a capacidade de reação rápida e soluções inteligentes. Peguei o bonde andando, só tive que dar continuidade ao que já estava sendo feito. A população de São Paulo que agora sofre a situação de anormalidade – não é possível prestar serviços normais em condições meteorológicas tão adversas – talvez ao fim dessa crise passe apreciar o feito desse corpo de engenheiros.”

Ao agradecer a honraria, Wagner relembrou os 39 anos de atuação na Sabesp. “Fazendo uma corelação da minha vivência com o momento atual da empresa – no caso, a crise hídrica – confio no potencial da Sabesp, principalmente seu corpo técnico e de funcionários, e acredito que esta será mais uma etapa vencida.”

No palco para receber a homenagem, Dante discorreu sobre sua trajetória na Sabesp, do início como estagiário até a Superintendência de Planejamento Integrado, cargo que ocupa atualmente, falou dos 30 anos de profissão e da carreira como professor da Universidade Mackenzie “atividade complementar que certamente engrandece minha vida profissional”.

O presidente da ABES agradeceu ao presidente da Sabesp, a todos os profissionais da Companhia e à AESabesp – ao atual presidente Reynaldo Young e ao presidente eleito Olavo Alberto Prates Sachs.

Também lembrou o significado de sua atuação na ABES. “Conhecer as mazelas do setor, olhando para o país como um todo, é outra oportunidade que tive e que transformou muitas de minhas ideias. O trabalho como presidente da ABES deixa claro os desafios que o nosso Brasil tem pela frente e só há um jeito de acelerar os avanços necessários: mudar a forma de ferir este setor.”
